Turns out that was the sister-in-law of the ref. Oh, you can count on phantom calls, ignored obvious calls and blatant crap out of this crew. Not that it would look much different than the 3 previous games, haha.

That's not at all surprising. My father suggested I look into officiating when I was young and I thought it was a pretty good idea at first.

Then I remembered all the insane people I've seen at every level in every sport and decided it was actually a pretty terrible idea.

I refereed a 12 year old “church” league game once and it was awful. I’m sure I wasn’t good as I had no training at all, but I’ve never had so many people mad at me in my life. Never reffed again.

Church leagues in Utah are not normal church leagues.
