Flush it. Onto the next one.

I had a suspicion that McGee might market correct Ayton's value if he wasn't extended before the deadline, and enough games like this one might just do it.

Not much to even say about a game like this. It felt over before halftime. Suns clearly didn't have their energy after that emotional game against the Lakers yesterday. I continue to hate NBA back-to-backs; don't think they're good for the sport.

I feel like Elfrid Payton is just a better all around player than Cam Payne (especially the CP of late). I wonder if there’s any chance Monty will give him the backup PG role at some point this season.
of late, you mean in the first 3 games?

I am not sure I like Nader with the reserve lineup. It seems his mindless drives into a traffic throw them off. They need to coach him up on finding a better move to make that helps the offense when the ball hits his hands.

Once again another night at work and eagerly waiting to watch on Playback then to see a terrible effort.
I know I don't have any impact on the results lol but this watching Live vs on Playback W-L record is becoming a thing

I was annoyed about how we played the 4th against Lakers and funny how these things play out. They were never sharp against Blazers either

I have noticed that he is single minded about taking the ball to the hoop and doesn't often look at his teammates. At least that was the case in a big way last night.

I think Rankin said they had today off for rest and are back at practice tomorrow and Tuesday. Definitely need the rest as I'm sure these guys are tired from the first week of games. Silver lining is that there's been more than a few blowouts - Bucks got theirs vs the Heat the other night - so it's just some early season stuff IMO. The trick will be balancing rest early on while also getting some of these guys back into midseason shape and avoiding that mental burnout Jae's talked about from a deep playoff run. Plus Monty seems to be figuring out which lineups and rotations work best. The first 10-15 games may be choppier than we expected, similar to last year but for slightly different reasons.

Well, they've got some time to think about this one and let it stew. Next game isn't until Wednesday.

How concerned should we be that Jae Crowder looks absolutely awful through our first three games?

I'm not concerned. He can be feast or famine from 3 but his rebounding and defense has still been there. He's also smart enough not force things in the offense, which passes to make and has looked OK with that floater in the lane when the defense runs him off the line. The 3pt shot will come around.
