Pretty terrible second quarter. I don't know how that wasn't a goaltending violation on Booker's shot.

I said it after the first, they're only going to win this game with defense and hustle. Both are severely lacking outside of a short stretch at the end of the first quarter.

Suns shooting 38.5%, Grizz 53.3%.
Grizz dominating the boards, 28-16.

Pretty pathetic so far. Suns getting out hustled again.
Seems like our stars are passing up shots and deferring too much.

Mikal needs to make himself a scoring threat. One shot attempt so far isn’t ok.

Stix is being assertive but he lacks confidence to finish plays.

Hopefully they come out pissed off.

Still not playing with any real pop. No flow offensively, getting pounded on the boards again, don't have a lot of size to battle Adams and JJJ. I don't know if the team is tired or bored or just undermanned tonight. Maybe they'll turn it on in the 2nd half. Paul's missed a bunch of shots and we need him to be a go-to threat. Not much from the Cams or Mikal. I like Payne's aggressiveness and we need him playing with that edge, but he's gotta start making them.

Rotations have been weird. I get that we're missing guys, but Young has been subbing players like Cam J and Mikal in for one possession and then subbing them out. No real flow. Let's also not give Payton any more minutes and give them to Shamet instead.

Mikal's gotta show up here.

Adams will probably get 20 boards tonight, and as many points ....

This team is needs another dependable rebounder other than Ayton.

We have a roster imbalance issue. 5/14 roster spots used on centers who can't really play together (or are out for the year).

Booker has been yapping at the officials all game, and they've honestly been screwing him.

I must say, Payton really does suck.

This one is over.

They really need to figure something out or they'll lose to OKC who we just saw play the Suns tough last week.

Payton is an offensive cipher.

I think Johnson and Crowder are both 4s in the modern NBA, but they both bring similar things and Suns needs some versatility at that spot. They need to replace on of their pure 5s with a 4/5 who can play next to Ayton and McGee and allow us to go big once in a while.

Jalen Smith is single handedly keeping the Suns in this game.

But why does he always looked bummed out even in the midst of the best game of his career?
