They're going to have to tighten up the defense eventually.
Yep. Too many wide open threes by Nets.

Our bigs need to step it up, also. Four (4) rebounds by Ayton, BB and McGee, combined.

Regardless of tonight’s outcome my biggest take away will be why the frack didn’t we sign Patty Mills.

I would think Bridges would be more likely to slip into the backcourt since he can handle them defensively.
I was just thinking more about offensive role

He hit the only shot I saw him take…I caught the final 49 seconds

He did hit the three, yes.
But he missed a couple of free throws early, including a Chris Dudley-like airball ....

Oh I believe it, I was just being difficult. I was honestly surprised to see it go in.

Saw bits of the game, most of the 4th and knew we got them in the penalty early. Regardless of circumstance, this tweet just had me cracking up

Well, this'll make two straight seasons at .500 or better.

I guess things are looking up a bit.

I was happy for him that he hit that one. Maybe it’ll give him a little bit of confidence.

This was a fun one to watch from start to finish. Good to see Ayton and Crowder back. The Suns are a well-oiled machine and they had this one under control pretty much from tip to final buzzer.

Blake Griffin is such a grade A asshole. I’m so glad I’ve never had to root for him.

The day he does anything defensively will be the first. Go home James, youre annoying.

Felt like we had control of this one start to finish. The Nets took the lead briefly but weren't ever really a threat. Book was Book, especially early on and then later to close the game. Glad Kyrie and Harden got to see it up close. They can't do anything to slow him down. If they have Durant, they're a completely different beast so it's tough to take too much away from this one.

DA and Crowder haven't missed a beat, which was great to see. Crowder does so many little things on defense from deflections to just discouraging a pass, you can see the difference when he's out.

Great game from Mikal - Jim Jackson said it during the broadcast - he was having a Shawn Marion type of game/impact. When he's scoring like he's been recently, the comparison is easy to make. Mikal's offense is more polished and reliable tho in halfcourt sets, where you can run him off screens for jumpers or quick post ups. And he's one of the best finishers in transition and off cuts. He's also pretty good at defense sometimes.

Payton had some nice plays but was a -14. When he plays quick, he seems a bit more effective. Quick drives and dishes, quick passes to cutters, quick swing/skip passes...it's when things slow down and he's forced to make a move for himself or against a set defense that he's pretty useless. Airballed a FT but made his 3 during garbage time.

Wainright saw a few spot minutes again so Stix is firmly out of the rotation. McGee was the first big off the bench and Biyombo saw a few minutes but maybe only because DA played 28 coming off the injury. 24 pts off the bench with 16 coming from Cam.
