Usually, there's a $1 category
If we can assume someone not listed is $1….

Give me Booker/Bridges/Marion/Frye/Robinson

I’m sticking with guys in my lifetime haha

That paint is gonna be crowded…not a lot of shooting

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Hey, Rubio shot over 36% from three for us. :P

I’m old school, I don’t like shooting. I like rebounding, defense, and that beautiful painted area. ;) Think late 90s Rockets haha.

In honor of the thread, let me try my hand at picking the “Al’s Favorites Squad”:

Goran Dragic
Devin Booker
Dan Majerle
Channing Frye
Deandre Ayton

Runner-ups:
$5 Nash, Barkley
$4 Marion
$3 Kidd

As soon as I read the quote at the top I knew it was Al and could hear him saying it.

I remember that play and apparently KJ injured his knee in the ensuing celebration.

There's also the story of another celebration where he tried to lift Oliver Miller (????) and got himself a hernia.

Reminds me of when the Gorilla fat shamed Oliver Miller when he was with another team (I think it was the Kings). Not the Gorilla's finest moment.

Definitely remember that and thinking how cruel that was. I met Oliver Miller at a HS graduation several years ago and copped a selfy with him. He was very nice.

Would it be too weird if they played a recording of his "Shazam!" call over the arena PA system after Suns' made threes? Maybe it would be more appropriate to do it as an honor after he passes (perhaps for only one season)?

Easily better than the dang “One… Two… Three!”

I was going to say the same thing. That's getting really old. Plus, it was stolen from the Nuggets.

I do have to admit I get a little nervous when I see this thread updated in the middle of the offseason. I mean, the man is 90-years-old after all.
