Just claim Watford and waive Ish and/or Todd

So we can waive Todd and bring him back on a 2-way?

Could care less about Todd. But at this point you don’t want players that are going to come in and expect minutes. We already have logjams at every position besides center. For me I’d cut Todd and bring back Biyombo.

People say Gordon is washed but he just scored 19 points to help beat us in game 1 of the playoffs.

All it took was a different type of voice in his ear. He seems ecstatic to be working for Ishbia rather than Sarver. He’s challenging him to do big things and it’s paying off.

Jones got a bad rap for decisions he made due to the restraints put on him by Sarver. Like getting rid of the G League team. He prioritized having a state of the art practice facility and probably had to sacrifice the g league team and scouting staff to make it happen.

With Ishbia, he’s had that ceiling that he kept having to operate under lifted.

If this team has KD and Booker...people are going to want to come here...we need to wait to see what shakes loose this summer.

I said it in the Ayton thread and I'm going to say it again here.

IF Ayton buys in to Vogel and understands what a great situation he is in, he could have a career year. A lot of ifs but I'm feeling pretty good about this upcoming season based on what I know about the FAs we have acquired. And then Gordon was the cherry on top for me. This upcoming season on paper is probably our best shot at an NBA Championship in our 55 year history!

I am absolutely giddy.

Having Gordon for offense allow the team to consolidate Payne with Ish for a more stablished player, it could be up to $8mill, right? What rebounding defensive PF is available at that range? I agree with those feeling that we lack size and force at the 4.

It would be nice to bring Byombo back as well, he can spend weeks on the bench without any fuzz, and the next game give you all on any playing time you give him, good to have him to set this tone, as many new guys are going to want minutes.

Nice pickup. EG is a true combo guard. He can make plays and shoot. Suns should have enough depth to withstand injuries.

Great signing.👍

Cool stat, but it's pretty funny of them to include Eubanks with his 0.2 3PA per game.

I'm right there with you, Boney. After the Mavs 2nd round debacle I literally posted "See you in 10 years" because I figured it would be that long before they would be relevant again especially with Sarver still owning the team and I couldn't put myself through it. But I started following them again when Ishbia bought the team and splashed with the Durant trade. This last season didn't turn how we had hoped but I had a feeling Ishbia had a plan or at least an open wallet. The Vogel hiring was huge. But what has happened in free agency has just blown me away. I think they are giving Ayton a year (or at least to the trade deadline) under Vogel to make some progress towards his potential. A lot of people were saying maybe he just needs new surroundings. Well with all the changes this is almost as new as a different team. And I too can't wait for the season to start. Hopefully things come together and a banner is finally raised.

That's hilarious that Book, arguably our best player, is at the bottom of that long list.

Looks like I was right that Sarver was the limiting factor for James Jones.
