They cited "lack of sufficient evidence." Weren't her face and neck, full of bruises and choke marks, sufficient evidence? Do we really think this would have been the outcome for a non-rich/famous person?

This is strictly to the 2nd accusation of him throwing pool balls at her car. He was already tried and got 3 years probation for the original assault

Ultimately, he wants to own a team, and one in Vegas would be crown jewel. I don't think he wants to wait and let it happen without him. Honestly, I don't blame him and think he's being smart and proactive.
