I'd throw Frye & Smith in there in place of Len, give them our 2014 1st rounder and give them back theirs that we snagged in the Wesley Johnson deal for Love straight up (no picks) - maybe sweeten it with our second rounder (and future second rounders), but that's about it.

I'd gamble that with no extension guarantee from Love.

I would do any of those deals for Love. He is worth it. Top 5 player in the NBA really. Worth giving up several middling first rounders and marginal players for, absolutely.

For some reason the Lakers just sent Xavier Henry to the D-League.

See I don't think love is a top 5 player, he's a borderline top 5 forward. One could argue PF right now is pretty interchangeable though with LMA, Griffin, Love, Davis etc. Then you factor in LBJ, Durant, Melo, CP3, Howard, Harden, and so on and Love starts to fall in around 10 ish.

With that said, I have no problem moving picks, but I don't want to trade Len/Goodwin unless Love signs an extension, just not worth it.

I thought Xavier Henry was injured pretty badly earlier this season. Maybe he's just there for a while to rehab and strengthen.

I also would do any trade that bring us Love, and he truly is a top 5 talent:
LBJ, Durant, Paul, clearly above Love
Davis, Kyrie, brighter future, MAYBE not better right now
Many would take Love over Melo, Harden, Griffin, LMA

Oh and looks like Granger will only speak with Bulls, Spurs, Heat, Clipps and Rockets, I would like to think that we showed no interest not that we were dismissed...

Where do you think we get in the draft with there pick next year, i dont see any trades or free agents coming to the rescue. I hope we get a 6th or 7th from them. Nash did us a solid! I wish we will sign him to a 1 day contract so he retires a sun. Mavs might have the upper hand.

Thats all just opinion, nobody knows that for certain. Either way, I'm not giving up 6 assets for 1 guy not named Durant.

Wiz won, which of course is beneficial for us. Gortat had 31&12. Wall had 31&9.

Oh man, Denver looks like shit. 39-13 in the 2nd. Is Brooklyn actually decent now or is Denver that bad?

Brooklyn is good if they can keep their creaky old veterans on the court. But only then, and not enough to be in contention for a title.

If we had known that we were going to be decent this year and in the mix for a play off spot, do you think we may have kept Gortat? We could have gotten rid of Marshall and Brown in another way, and had Plumlee to energize our bench as well. How much better could we have been? A bench consisting of LB, Green, the Morrii and Plumlee would be extremely solid. :)

I get the feeling the Lakers pick will probably end up in the middle teens to early twenties. I think they will probably put together a team that can compete for a playoff spot but that’s about it.
