Thank God!

Lakers fans rejoicing about this crack my shit up. They haven't seen how bad this guy is. He has had a great career but his body is telling him to hang it up.

Sure, lock Holmes in at backup C now.

What’s the next move? Anyone think Mgt have something in mind?
I would be surprised if any other big moves are made. We have a co-GM situation currently. Sarver probably wants John Wall so we can "make the playoffs"

Based on recent history, yes, and we'll all hate it.

Couldn't get a 2nd rounder for him?
I sure they could have if they waited for someone to hire McD.

The problem would have been trying to find a deal where the Suns weren't taking any contracts back that went beyond this season.
Trendon Watford. Please and thank you.

Maybe they can trade Anderson for a functioning PF and PG.

Previous years' choices notwithstanding, I will say that I have been impressed the org hasn't done anything to hinder our ability to spend money next season. Didn't pick up Bender, got Anderson to reduce his contract so it was no more than Knight (and looking to stretch him I assume), and only signing the 2nd round rookies to deals less than 1.5M next year.

The only thing they did eating into our cap next year was extending book, but you just had to do that.

That's a relief. Time to move on. Even though Holmes hasn't done much yet, I much prefer his activity level.

Yeah, sure. Easy peasy.

Did you miss that one? Lowered his gauranteed salary to 15 million next season.

15.6, but yeah. So when we stretch him, it will be no more expensive than stretching knight.

About time. This year it's been like watching the Mummy shuffle around the court.

I must have. If we took the steps to do that then I would guess this will be a pitstop for 1 season only which is good because it may be time for Ryno to hang it up.
