Crazy how much my opinion of Allen has changed. Might be one of my favorite Suns when it’s all said and done.

Dude, I saw this once we traded for him.
He IS my favorite Sun; name a more consistent, avaliable player we have.
He just does his JOB, and well

Great comeback but it did feel a little flukey. The Kings wilted under the pressure and couldn't adjust to our smaller lineup. Did we crack a code here with KD at the 5? Nurk can be a liability against quicker, more mobile centers but so can Sabonis and we were able to exploit that. Wonder why it's taken so long for us to see that lineup this season. 5 of the best offensive players/shooters in the league, might as well use 'em.

I rewatched the 4th and it was very fluky if the statistics didn't already make that obvious. The Kings had a horrible whistle even if they were way too casual. It was very reminiscent of the 1st quarter of this game in reverse that reflects one of my favorite coachisms, "you make your own luck".

I mentioned shot making early on and I still think that was true for this game, everyone but Allen was off tonight and that should be a rare occurrence. If just one of those guys has it going throughout, we're looking at a much more competitive game that the Suns eventually screw up and lose in the 4th quarter.

Ohhh man
I feel like I cheated myself

I had to watch replay as usual and when Fox hit the 3 in front our bench to go up 109 - 89 with 8mins left
That was it for me, no more avoiding the result by staying off Twitter and my Fantasy teams

So my shock when I checked stats just now
I'm at 113 - 101 with 4:35 left and still wondering what the hell really happened.
Brb lol

Crazy
A bit flukey
But I sure will take it (especially if it has a domino effect going forward)

Pelicans being the next game will put the Feel Good MOJO to the test immediately

Know I haven't gotten much traction with this but "The Winter Soldier" is that dude lol

The worst 4th quarter team pulls off the biggest comeback in the 4th since the bubble? I like many of you were ready to turn the game off. I’m one of those guys who has to watch a crappy movie all the way to the end so, I stuck around and was rewarded. We have seen the Suns melt down and lose in the 4th many times this year. It was nice to see another team melt down for us for a change.

I am not sure how much it was Durant playing center or just a case where one team gets it going and the other melts down under the pressure.

I'll confess I turned it off in the 3rd when we were down 16-18 and looked completely lifeless. I got ready for bed and then started seeing the posts and tweets that we were on a 6-0 run, down 10, down 6, down 4...by the time it was 117-115 I was dozing off but figured the Kings would still squeeze out the win. I was really aggravated at the Suns' play thru the first 3 qtrs. Nice to wake up to the win. Rewatched the 4th this morning and we just caught fire. I hope Vogel sticks with the smallball/death lineup when the matchups call for it. Regardless, we need to upgrade the bench. We can't expect to play 4 guys 38 minutes a night. I don't know where it's going to come from, but I don't think it's something we can fix internally.

Also, about Grayson's quote...Suns fans are loyal and the Suns have one of the best crowds in the league but you can't sleepwalk for 3qtrs and be down 20 and expect some raucous crowd and a standing ovation.

They should have been booed loudly

Booker was bad tonight. Yes, he had 11 assists, but 16 points from your franchise player including going 0-1 in the 4th is pretty pathetic. We shouldn't need to rely on Grayson Allen carrying us through 3 quarters.
Keegan Murray's length really bothered him from the 2nd quarter on, imo.

I HATE the artificially piped in "DEFENSE!" chants with all of the loudspeakers. When you're at the game, it's so obviously not coming from the timid folks all around. The players must listen and think it's ridiculous too.

Honestly the loud DJ BS was the wrong direction to go. They should have gone exactly the opposite way: making the piped-in noise almost zero, no music, no loud bullshit. Just force the crowd to realize, WE have to make the noise, if we do, the team will hear us. That's how you get a crowd culture back. Why shout and cheer when you'll just be drowned out by the enormous speakers blaring music and fake chants anyway?

Agreed. It's a little too much at this point. Dial it back a bit, and let the crowd back into the game.

Peep this. Saw it on the NBA on TNT Postgame Show:

Kings were 99.9% to win at the point.
I knew there would be some stat like this coming out. Like I said, it was the most unlikely win ever.

Perhaps part of the problem has been the “great fit” we traded for—a slow, plodding center?

I think there is some truth to this, but it doesn't apply universally. There are some games that he's been outstanding and a huge reason the Suns won those games. A game like you play the Kings, where they are playing very fast, maybe it doesn't make as much sense.

Nurkic still has by far the best +/- and on/off net rating on the team. Hard to defend him being their biggest problem.

I didn’t say he’s our biggest problem. I said perhaps his slowness has been part of the problem, especially in the 4th quarters. I would be curious what his fourth quarter ratings are like. Whether it’s been helpful or not, it seems like Vogel has benched him a lot in clutch time.
