Ya Wiggins would probably be an even better prospect if he was entering this draft. He was seen as a surefire elite defender and at 6'8 had great size and elite elite athleticism. Jaylen Brown has been very successful and Wiggins would have been seen as a bigger, more athletic Jaylen. He'd be in the conversation at the top. Remember big, athletic wings are all the rage right now.
Same with Elfrid Payton is that draft.

Please, everybody, remember these guys when projecting a player as a great defender based on body measurements. Defense starts with the heart and will to defend, the mind to read the game, and then it helps to have the body for it.

Come on, that’s an extreme comparison. Bender wouldn’t even be drafted in the first round in many drafts retrospectively.
Yeah, in retrospect we should have taken... Jamal Murray? Big deal.
That's a very significant difference between Dragan Bender and Jamal Murray.
In retrospect, we should’ve just drafted Chriss at 4 and kept bogdan. But let’s see, I still want to see another year out of Bender and Chriss to make up my mind.

I'm convinced that the video tag doesn't work at all. I dunno. I didn't do anything to change/disable it, but I think it's a broken feature of this message board software. The youtube, tweet, and streamable tags all work, though.

Old guy question: What exactly is a "streamable"?

Streamable is a site where people post short videos, a little bit like Youtube. A lot of people post NBA videos there, particularly on NBA reddit.

I wonder how good the Ringer feels about themselves considering they got someone fired.

I think they feel great that they had such a breaking story that brought massive amounts of traffic to their site. Colangelo(or maybe his wife) got himself fired.

Very? Obviously they knew their article would most likely end in this outcome if it was confirmed to be true.

I suppose bringing traffic to your site is worth having someone else lose their job and hit unemployment.

I get that what he (or his wife) did was wrong but honestly it wasn’t actually harming anyone nor was it in illegal.

It was stupid. He was leaking inside information to his wife who was sharing it openly. It was harmful to the organization. Do you really expect a media site to not run that story?

Wow. Thanks for the info, UT. Not sure I buy that BC had no knowledge of what his wife was doing. So much for the phrase, "Behind every great man is a great woman." She single-handedly brought him down.

I don't know about that. I think sharing the medical information was illegal and as far as harming anyone, the tweets were inflammatory about certain players and Hinkie.

I wonder how good the Washington Post feels about themselves considering they made a freaking POTUS lose his job.

Probably kind of similar to how The Ringer is feeling right now.

Hopefully they'll document all of this in a movie called, "All the Colangelo's Men."

So apparently Jerry threatened to hurt 76ers team relationships if they fired Bryan.
