I hope Jimmy Jones has his phone ready to call Lamine Diane after the 60th pick is made.

Any love for Grant Riler or Markus Howard?
Some people love Grant Riller. Even talked about him at 13. I don’t fully see it, but at this point, I’d say why not. He can score. He’s small and I’m not sure he has much playmaking, but he can get a bucket.

We really need to find that PG to sit behind Paul though.
I agree. I'm nervous about handing the backup keys to Cam Payne without having a real third guard to push him.
Still think Allonzo Trier is the way to go.

As I say every year, the draft is a total crap shoot. I’ve never seen anything to make me believe any team is better at drafting than others.

The warriors hit on Curry, Thompson and Green. Maybe they just lucky. 30 people flip a coin and someone’s going to hit heads more than others.

The Suns were very unlucky this decade with drafting. They missed on a lot but got lucky with Booker (whom they didn’t even want...they tried to get Kaminsky).

Maybe their luck will start to change.

And I still think there's something that happened with him at UA that has given the Suns pause to make that move.

wait, you are coming to a message board asking for an apology over your assessment of a draft pick, just after posting how the draft is a complete coin flip and nobody is better than anyone else and it is all luck?

Absolutely. The Suns would have to do their research. I know he still hangs with Ayton.

Ty-Shon Alexander could be interesting too. Also I recently heard about Jay Scrubb, Juco guy that declared. If he goes undrafted, he’s a great athlete we can try and develop.

Would love Ty Alexander added and Paul Reed still hasn't been taken so maybe he slips thru. I'm also upset Tyler Bey is on the Mavs.

Vassel just looks like such a lock to be a great wing in this league. Jalen Smith looks good too but perhaps ready to contribute with a lower ceiling.

Thanks everybody for a fun draft night. I too thought we we would take Haliburton. Well, that was until Shabazz positively jinxed it!

I'm guessing not too much chance of us going after Paul Reed after the Smith selection.
