We have players that warrant significant minutes at the 2 and 3. Booker is going to play 35+ and TJ and Josh both are going to get 30-35+. It’s nice to say we’ll find minutes, but in reality there are no minutes. You’re not going to play Josh or TJ at the 4 with much success, it did not work at all last year.
This is why you take Doncic. He opens up so much lineup flexibility
Time to give it up INF. Doncic will probably go 4 or 5.

I still think Sacto will take him at #2. I think they’d be crazy not to.

What exactly has zero chance of happening? Jackson and Warren getting minutes at the 4? Us drafting Zhaire or Lonnie?
Drafting both Zhaire and Lonnie when we badly need shooting.

I wasn't suggesting drafting both and Lonnie is one of the better shooters, so I'm not sure where that's coming from.

41% from field and 34% from 3? The 74% from FT hints that all those numbers could improve though.

For reference I thought we could compare the percentages to another ex-Hurricane, Davon Reed.

Year 1 34/36/67
Year 2 47/46/73
Year 3 47/38/81
Year 4 43/40/83

Zhaire actually shot 56/45/71 but only 1 3PA per game. I'm not sure I am ready to call him a perimeter threat but I hear he has been shooting well in workouts.

No he won’t. There’s a higher chance of the Suns taking Doncic over the Ayton (which is slim to none) than of the Kings of passing on Doncic.

Doncic will probably end up the much, much better player than Ayton who stat pads on crappy teams for most of his career (Minny KLove/post LeBron Cavs).

He's got some shot selection issues, but he's very good when he takes good shots... I'll try and find the stats, but he was really high in catch and shoot and unguarded 3 pt attempts... Not so great in pull up 3's

Walker’s subpar true shooting percentage (52.7 percent) came directly from poor shot selection. According to the tracking numbers at Synergy Sports, he was in the 97th percentile of players nationwide on unguarded catch-and-shoot jumpers, in the 22nd percentile on guarded jumpers, and in the 29th percentile when shooting off the dribble.

Give up what? I already said the Suns are taking Ayton. That doesn't change my opinion that Doncic is the best prospect in this draft.

Thanks for the advice though.

He doesn't have hope in Ryan. That is very clear to anyone that reads his posts (and pretty darn warranted if you ask me). Why would you ask him to give up on it? I don't get it.
