I think he is referring to the Orlando Summer League. Besides Las Vegas, there is also Orlando and Utah Summer Leagues. I think they both happen before the Vegas.

I guess Bam played well, showing off a lot of game he didn't show at Kentucky in the first game. Also, Wesley Iwundu is playing well for Orlando. Quick, long, and athletic.

Can't wait to watch the games. I really am interested in watching Jackson, Chriss and Bender playing together. The ability of that lineup to switch looks impressive on paper.

Really hoping we only end up with one center that gets minutes. That way Bender and Chriss can fill the backup center role giving all the bigs extra minutes. If we only give 24 minutes to that center the rest of the guys can all get 30 minutes a game. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Was anybody else unaware of Marlon Garnett, assistant coach and head coach of our 2017 Summer League team? Apparently he because an assistant coach and player development coach for us last summer.

I wasn't aware of Marlon. Curious whether he will have an impact.

Does anyone else think that Josh Jackson's long-term position will be PG?

- He certainly has the court vision and drive-and-dish game
- He's not quite long enough to live up to the Kawhi/Pippen comparisons, but he'd be a nightmare on defense for smaller guards
- He just looks like a PG...

Apparently, folks who were following him in Kansas agree.

Playing him and Bledsoe together would enable Bledsoe to maximize his SF-in-a-PG-body game and help smooth out ball movement -- regardless which one you call the PG.

I'm all for not even having a designated PG. It would be great to be able to eventually have Bledsoe, Booker, Jackson, Bender, ulis, and maybe Reed take turns initiating the offense.

I knew we poached him from the Spurs video room. Don't know too much about him other than he was given the rather nebulous title of "player development coordinator."

Positionless basketball, I guess it can work if everyone buys into the idea.

Great. If the younglings fail to develop, Marlon gets the blame.
