Did Colangelo screw up with Philly's big (literally) 3 or what? Got almost nothing for Noel and I'm flabbergasted by what they're doing with Okafor.

This was a big reason why I had him after Fox, Tatum, and Jackson.Superbone wrote:LaVar Ball says Lakers ‘don’t know how to coach’ his son Lonzo

I'm really glad we're not dealing with this freak show.
Doesn't matter, they've landed the top prospect in 3 of the last 4 drafts (Embiid, Simmons, Fultz)Hermen wrote:Did Colangelo screw up with Philly's big (literally) 3 or what? Got almost nothing for Noel and I'm flabbergasted by what they're doing with Okafor.
There's also all the political stuff, the stuff with Lonzo's brother, etc. I still wish we had him, but I can totally see not wanting to deal with this kind of stuff.Superbone wrote:LaVar Ball says Lakers ‘don’t know how to coach’ his son Lonzo

Since when are Okafor and Noel part of anybodies big 3? I think Hinkie screwed up drafting Okafor, but otherwise I think they are fine.Hermen wrote:Did Colangelo screw up with Philly's big (literally) 3 or what? Got almost nothing for Noel and I'm flabbergasted by what they're doing with Okafor.
And how the Thunder and Cavs aren't any better at all.Superbone wrote:Amazing how much better the Knicks are without Melo and Rose (and Jackson).
Well, they are big - that's why I said literallyO_Gardino wrote:Since when are Okafor and Noel part of anybodies big 3? Maybe. I like Gordon but I don't know that it ultimately does much for us. That gives us Booker/Jackson/Gordon and our 1st. We'd still need a dominant big man and a PG. I like the idea of using the Miami pick to find our PG of the future. There's a couple guys I like (Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Bruce Brown, and maybe Collin Sexton)specialsauce wrote:Anybody opposed to trading Chriss, Warren and our Miami 1st (this years) for A Gordon?
Aging players who still think they are good can really be a drag on a team.Superbone wrote:Amazing how much better the Knicks are without Melo and Rose (and Jackson).
We need to keep this in mind when we start pining to trade all our young assets for some big name player. It better be the right player.O_Gardino wrote:And how the Thunder and Cavs aren't any better at all.Superbone wrote:Amazing how much better the Knicks are without Melo and Rose (and Jackson).
