Devin god damn mother fcking Booker. Two HUGE clutch shots to put it away. Great shooting and awesome defense from Bridges. Ayton played a solid game. Wow did we ever need that. This one feels good.

Ayton with an interesting stat line:

8 reb
6 ast
3 stl
2 blk
5 TO

Gasol and Ayton really battled tonight

Bridges is so legit.
Give the game ball to TJ Warren. He doesn’t get hurt, Bridges probably doesn’t play so much, we maybe don’t win.

So what do we think of Point Book? Is that our plan for the position going forward?
No.

Conley & Gasol shoot 5 for 29 and they still just barely eeked out a win because they had 24 turnovers.

We keep having Book initiate the offense with Canaan off the ball. I thought K said he wasn’t going to do that.
I think he said "for the whole game" with one of the main reasons being fatigued from on ball pressure but after the Mavs win when asked about doing it in the 4th quarter he did say he wants the ball in his best player's hand iirc

Which probably resulted in 8 points.

Yay, Suns with the win, Booker hits back to back big shots, while still only about 80%. Ayton played some good defense tonight. Bridges is going to start soon enough. At least the Suns have 3 core players right now. I hope TJ feels better soon. The bench got outplayed badly.

7 first quarter turnovers.
Man, what a slog this game was. Soooo many turnovers. We would have crushed them minus the turnovers. About 3 minutes into the 4th quarter, I had all but given up thinking we can't win this way. And then boom! As soon as I let go, we started coming back until we got to that epic finish with Bridges breaking out from 3 and then Booker doing Booker things for the win. Wow.

When TJ comes back, he’s going to have to take somebody’s spot in the rotation.

I really hope it’s Anderson.

Josh Jackson with a -15 in 13 minutes. Nobody else worse than -4 (Okobo).
