No way the 6ers give up Fultz for Jackson, but I'd do that trade in a heartbeat.
Nope. Jackson has been bad, but Fultz is a certified mess. He's broken, and this team isn't fixing anything.

Toronto and shot guru Nick Nurse should make a run at him, maybe the Spurs, anywhere else I think he's doomed.
I would do the trade. Jackson is our third-best young SF behind Warren and Bridges, and as such shouldn’t even be playing. Fultz could come in and probably start for us. We’ve been begging for a PG who can make an entry pass, and Fultz can at least do that better than any of the PGs we have now (not saying much, I know). JJ wouldn’t be much of a sacrifice, so I’d take a chance on Fultz.

Cleveland defeats Charlotte tonight putting them in a tie with the Suns for the worst record in the league.

Right now, the Cavs aren’t our competition. These teams are:

I am surprised our 1996-97 team isn't on that list. I guess our first 13 games were closer than I remember...

For what it's worth, on the Hawks this year Alex Len is averaging 10.4 ppg on .509 FG% and 5.5 rpg in about 22 minutes/game.

Rooting for the guy. I think he was a serviceable center. I think I would have preferred us to keep Len and draft Doncic than what we ended up doing. But to each his own.

I think Fultz is damaged goods. His shoulder may never be right again and it's in his head now as well.
Something I've been thinking about since watching him closely a few time this season; I'm not completely sure that he actually enjoys playing basketball.
To be fair, I don't think anyone would enjoy playing in his place right now. His shot is broken and every one he takes goes viral.

By all indications though, he is working on it a lot. It's how this mess started, supposedly.

I think this is what most of us who watched Ayton’s passiveness and softness at Arizona preferred.

Or forget Len, take Robinson with the pick they used on Okobo.

Doncic
Booker
Ariza
Warren
Robinson

Before anyone says that Doncic is playing PF or SF for the Mavs, he’s playing point forward which he could have done here as well by us just moving Booker to the PG spot.

I know a lot of people on this board don't like him, but Draymond Green would be the absolute perfect fit at the 4 for this team. With all the drama around Golden State, I wonder if there's an avenue to get him this summer. ?/Booker/Bridges/Green/Ayton is a really good foundation.

(Durant wouldn't look bad at the 4 either)

I hate the guys antics but I can't help but drool at that possibility.

Would Draymond be effective without any PGs who can distribute the ball to him? Without three other historically great 3-point shooters to spread the floor? Without a dynamic coach who gets how to run things on both ends of the floor? Without the whole rest of his team basically being above average to great defensively?

I like Green but I do wonder whether he would really be a star on another team. I think some guys' numbers would go up if you made them "the man;" I think Klay Thompson is an example of this. But I think other guys thrive being the forgotten man on a team of stars, finding spots and lurking in the shadows on offense. Draymond is such a guy IMO. I think he'd be much less effective on, say, the Nets or Hawks.

Actually, Green is the distributor on the Warriors. They don't really have a traditional distributing PG.

The best way for Durant to cement his legacy would be to win a title for the Phoenix Suns. Somebody should mention that to his agent.

I called this one a long time ago. Not that they'd be feuding within the team, but I really thought this would be Durant's last year in Oakland.

This would be a balanced roster.

Rozier
Booker
Bridges
Durant
Ayton

Bench
TJ
JJ
Okobo
Korkmaz
Bender
Holmes
Melton

Is it possible with our cap space? I have no idea but dreaming is free.

I don't think so. We didn't pick up Bender's option so he won't be here. We'll stretch Anderson's $15M which will help. But if you believe Scary Terry will get the max he's after then I don't think we can fit Durant's max too. Don't forget we have Ayton making #1 pick money and JJ making a good amount too. I believe we'll have somewhere close to $40M in space with only the following guys signed: Booker, Bridges, Ayton, TJ, JJ, Okobo and Melton.
