Dear James Jones
Please do something, anything, like maybe your job

From Danimal

Im only watching the games on delay since this team isn’t fun to watch very often these days. Not just the losing but the games just feel like I’m watching the same crap on replay constantly. Not sure the pistons would want any of our bench guys after that
Seriously. Our higher salary players for the past 3 years have been non contributors. Honestly K Love is an upgrade from all the Ryan Andresons and TJs and the Tyson Chandlers.
I’m not sure if you’re agreeing or disagreeing with me

I'd be OK with throwing decent money at Christian Wood this offseason. Just a solid player who can play with or behind Ayton.

Noticed he’s been having a good season off the bench. He was literally the last guy to make the team. They even waived a guaranteed contract if I remember correctly

Wood could’ve been had for basically free several times already. Either something is up with his attitude or a bunch of GMs are inept. Possibly both?

I was at the game last year as it was on a weekend and made it so much easier (I am 2 hours away). There were at least 100 people there that stayed after to get pictures/autographs decked out in Suns gear.

I keep wondering about this. I thought going after Wood was a no brainer when he was available a couple times for little to nothing. How is he available when he's actually productive? How do multiple teams just find him expendable, when he has range, is productive on the boards. He was a former Suns summer league player. His Per 36 is 21 ppg, 11 rbs, almost 2 blocks per and he's shooting nearly 38% from 3 w/ a PER of 22.5.

How many GMs let Brandon Clarke fall to 21 in the past draft, when even myself & many many others wanted him at even at 6? Are GMs just stuck in their initial impression of players? Is that the same reason that Booker wasn't thought of as an All-Star by fans and coaches?

He was only available to claim by waivers and I think a) the Pistons had a higher priority than us and b) we didn't have an open roster spot. That's not to say that we even would have put in a claim. I have no idea. He had also an option year this year which was picked up by the Pistons. So he wasn't actually available over the last few years.

I'm pretty sure based on last year's standings that we would have had the higher priority on the waiver, but I could be wrong. Also, he was a FA last year I believe, no?

Well, once again, it feels like we'll never win a game again. That Mavs game sure feels like an anomaly.

It was for the Mavs, too.

If the Suns do nothing at the trade deadline, it looks like a 25-win season.
Rubio looks spent, and will only get marginally better if he rests a week or two.
That means Booker runs the point, limiting his effectiveness.
Reasonably healthy, how long would it take Cam and Baynes to get in sync ...?
Same question with Saric...

You think we only win 5 more games?

Playing as they did last night, yes. No bench, and Rubio's shot has no lift. And little enthusiasm for team defense.

I think the physical wear-and-tear of playing all summer in the World Championships, plus the stress of having his first child, have left Rubio spent. He's probably tired and worn out. I bet if he had a few weeks of rest he'd be right as rain, but that isn't going to happen.

I'm hoping this entire team gets a boost over all-star break.

With the team constantly being short of bodies it has forced those healthy enough to play out of position a lot and has increased wear and tear on them as well. The whole team I think is wore down and on fumes. A break would help them all. We lost 2/3 centers and the power forwards played center. Now we have no power forwards along with several others. I know teams have injuries but, the Suns have really been hit hard this year. That has certainly cost them games.

Any news on Baynes?

last news I read said he was week to week (or at least said he would be evaluated again next week). That was middle of last week, so I would have thought we'd hear by now.

I’d bet he’d have played if the games mattered recently. They probably didn’t want to risk any further injury in case a trade opportunity they liked came a long.

Ty Jerome was warming up a few games ago and all of a sudden missed a week and a half. What’s going on with this team?
