Yea noticed that with Booker too. Seemed to be around the same spot too but no one else has slipped. Hope he didn't pull anything.

I think Cam looks a little thicker, but not anymore muscular or bulkier. He's still not a narrow frame. The second unit still struggling to find some consistent offense but I thought Carter looked pretty good.

I already hate Cameron Payne.
Ammm confused with this one lol
He had to heave a shot at the buzzer , got the rebound with 4secs left so maybe a quick hit ahead pass was there
The call on Conley shooting a 3 was whack and since then he's hit his two jumpers
I may have jumped the gun, lol
Tho, in my defense, I can't recall a single TEAM play he made.
Is he the bench gunner? If so, ok

Tom Chambers is ahead of the game; he already has a late-August level tan going on. And it looks like he hasn't had a haircut since COVID hit.

Ayton has such a nice soft touch. Is any site showing stats for this scrimmage?

I am so pissed right now. Paid for NBA League Pass year after year and now I'm not getting the game. Of course longer than usual hold times. Stupid DTV!!!!!!!!
How odd, I kept on receiving reminders about the restart and how my League Pass will include all of the action and then some. It’s International League Pass, but sometimes they even apply me the blackout criteria without obviously been remotely close to the AZ market.
So, after an hour and a half on the phone, I finally get to see the 4th quarter!

Yeah, why do the Suns have to have a slew of medocre backup pgs?

Mediocre would be an upgrade.

Suns win! 101-88. It was fun to see the guys play again.

Yea it was great to see Suns basketball again. Really liked the way we came out and played and a lot seemed to carry over from the season. Monty rested the starters in the 4th which I thought was smart. Payne looks promising but want to temper expectations for now until we get a few games in and the scouting reports come out. Overall, the starters looked sharp. Still have some work to do with the 2nd unit but good to see Frank get some work with Ayton too IIRC. Getting Rubio back will be a nice boost as well.

Dunno, but the Suns mobile app is.

The game definitely felt like a scrimmage, but I enjoyed it all the same. Had to miss the 2nd quarter, but her are my thoughts otherwise:

Jerome looked better, but not enough better to make me think he can keep up in a real NBA game. It was nice to see him make a few actual basketball plays, though.
Payne looked promising just because we aren't used to seeing that athleticism from our backup guards. I hope he can find a role here.
Our awareness on offence was so much better than it was in December. It's nice to see the team learning under Monty.
In the first quarter, Ayton was better than Gobert on both ends of the court. Rudy got the better of the match up in the 3rd.
That 3rd quarter was when I thought we missed Rubio and Oubre. We were very predictable, and the Jazz took advantage of that.
If Ayton was as determined to get under the basket and shoot as Saric, he would average 40 ppg.
Bridges looked ready to go. I didn't even miss Oubre until the offence stagnated.

It sure feels good to beat the Jazz.

That sucks! League Pass worked for me on both the PC and the Roku, but they played the Jazz broadcast on both the home and away streams.

Yeah, but, isn't that exactly the point of having Oubre?

Thanks for that link. Hmm, looks like Cam Johnson didn't find his shooting touch tonight; he was 2-for-6. Lots of other guys shot well, including Ayton at 6-7, Payne at 5-7, and Bridges at 6-9.

Awesome to watch Suns basketball again! Didn’t know what to do with myself.

Looked good: Bridges, Booker, Ayton, Saric, Frank. Payne.

Looked trash: Jerome, Diallo, Cam

Indifferent: Carter

First game back so no reason to trash any of the bad play. It’s to be expected. I’d say Jerome looks like the furthest from an NBA player than anyone else but we’ll see. Cam Payne looked like a real nice backup.

Booker and Ayton looked pretty smooth after a long layoff. Bridges had high energy and was all over the place on D
