The offense has been clunky but the defense has held and now Payne and Crowder with a couple 3s to extend the lead. We're 5-14 from 3 but luckily they're 2-10 mainly because of our defense. Looks like we can close the half strong here.

Nice close, Mikal with a corner 3 so we're up 53-40. Mikal's given Mitchell all sorts of problems when he's guarded him. Great matchup for us. I maybe would've liked Cam Johnson out there with the starters at the end of the half. Love what Payne's done in the half with some deep 3s and dribble penetration. Our defense has been really good tho and it's sustainable at the moment because we're deep enough and all our guys play hard.

Refs are letting the Suns play.
Jordan Clarkson shoved (slightly) a ref out of his way after he ran into the ref and the lost the ball.
That was unwise, and may have influenced some of the later calls against the Jazz.
Not that I mind, as Utah often gets the benefit of the calls at home ...

Not enough fans to intimidate the refs tonight

Clarkson has been outwardly frustrated and that seemed to have rubbed off on O'Neal. Can't push a ref tho so he got a T and O'Neal's swipe looked unnecessarily aggressive which led to a flagrant so they're calling it tight.

He just got passed to again had a very close look, but got pushed in the back so he threw it out to the three point line??? Just toss it at the rim and get your two FTs. Unreal

It is tough enough to listen to Annie call a game, much less from afar.

It’s got to be a whole better than the Jazz announcers whom I’m forced to listen to on NBA TV. They are the worst. I was soooo glad that flagrant was called on O’Neale. They said over and over how there was nothing there.

The Jazz broadcasters are the woooorst.

Suns defense has been really impressive. There were a couple of early in the shotclock threes that they missed that I thought they could have done better, but still... if they get any of these shots to go they are gonna get this lead to double digits - oh there;s a crowder three to push it to 10

The Jazz announcers refuse to acknowledge the Suns good D. They just keep saying the Jazz are “having offensive problems.”
