We don’t ask him to rebound, though he got a big offensive one right there ;)

It should be understood that everyone has to rebound with the starting frontcourt unable to play.

STIX has had a good game. Bookers stats look good but he has played one of those games where he complains all game
And makes horrible mistakes

Entirely predictable. The Grizzlies entire offense is Morant dancing into the lane or Bane shooting 3's.

Great comeback. If they would have called one of those 3 obvious travel/carrying violations we would have crossed the finish line. Luckily for Memphis the officials give Desmond Bane All star veteran respect with the whistle 🙄FOH

They'll never make the call on him in that situation, but I'm pretty sure Morant travelled after receiving the inbound.

Well, he had some good reasons to complain -- including the missed goal tending call.
And with 3 TOs, he's not exactly in Westbrook territory 8-)

I do agree there are times he could let bygones go and focus forward ...

Or better yet, if they hadn't gotten down by 18 points.

Well at least we know we can replace Ayton with McGee and save money, right guys?

It does seem like Ja lands before he shoots sometimes…that last play was just bad defense. How do you let him get all the way to the rim? I know he’s fast, but make him shoot a jumper, even if it’s mostly an open shot…or just straight up double him. Make Anderson make a play.

I think McGee fouling out in 22 minutes as the starting Center was the primary issue for the Suns in this game. The Grizzlies should probably feel a bit embarrassed that they nearly gave away this game.

Literally no one has said that. Any more fan fiction you'd like to contribute?

There was more than one poster arguing in favor of doing exactly that, at the beginning of the season.

Chris Paul came to double on that last play and just ran past Morant. Terrible mistake from Paul for the second straight game in crunch time.

Quite the fantasy world you've created in your head.

He was following his man, came late on the double after he had passed Morant. Honestly would have been fine if he either just straight up doubled or just kept going. Think there was some miscommunication as Bridges maybe thought a switch was coming and didn’t seem to be in great position. Gotta be on the same page there…honestly probably a good play by Memphis. Probably knew we would switch every screen so they ran a ghost screen and there was enough indecision that Ja had a small opening and took it.
