How many teams had as good a W/L record and as big a lead on the rest of the league at the All-Star break as this year's Suns? Here's the list -
MVP in bold

1966-67 PHI 39-4 .906 +9 (Chamberlain, Greer, Walker, Jackson, Jones, Cunningham)
1995-96 CHI 42-5 .894 +7.5 (Jordan, Pippen, Kukoč, Rodman, Kerr, Harper, Longley, Wennington)
1964-65 BOS 37-7 .840 +7 (Russell, S. Jones, Sanders, K.C. Jones, Havlicek, Heinsohn, Naulls)

2021-22 PHO 48-10 .828 +6.5 (Paul, Booker, Bridges, Ayton, Crowder, Johnson, McGee, Payne, Shamet)

1996-97 CHI 42-6 .913 +6 (Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, Kerr, Harper, Kukoč, Longley, Caffey, Brown)
1977-78 POR 40-8 .833 +6 (Walton, Lucas, Hollins, Davis, Gross, Twardzik, Owens, Calhoun, Neal, Steele)

Three teams. That's it.

They can always make up for it this year. (He better win.)

If they get to 70, he will win. But I get the feeling if we finish with 65 wins, it is going to go to Jenkins.

Hopefully there’s a silver lining if he misses games. The team hasn’t had to really become independent of CP3 this year. Book, Bridges, and Ayton are heavily assisted by CP3. It would be good if they could figure out their own mojo in preparation of Playoffs. Payne still needs to get his shit together, Holiday and Craig need to gel with the bench unit.

Probably not playing in the All-Star game now, right?

I actually hope he takes the all star game off. But he probably won’t. Every time we play the clippers and last time we played the bucks (Allen) I worry that bad shit is gonna happen.

Thought it was weird there was no update yesterday but figured no news was good news on CP's thumb. The brace isn't great but it's better than surgery. I hope he doesn't play in the All-Star game but he probably will; maybe it'll only be for a few minutes. Wouldn't mind him taking a week or two to really heal (or however long it takes) rather than have it linger the rest of the season and possibly get worse.

I wear that same brace some days after carrying around my daughter and playing hard. The base of my thumb against my palm starts to hurt. 1 to 10 I'm at a 2 when it comes to concern.

This is kinda tough…

I went CP3, Bell, Dudley, Amare, Frye

Spacing and defense around a CP3/Amare pick and roll.

yeah I don't understand the pricing or structure. I think it is hilarious that Goran and Shaq are both $4 players when I would put Suns Shaq as a $1 on that list and Goran in the list of PGs behind CP3, Nash, & Rubio, and probably on the same tier as Marbury (although very different players).

I'm gonna be random :) 8-)

DA, Amare, Kelly, Mikal and Rubio

Amare gets to do his damage in PnR at his preferred PF without having to worry about being the defensive anchor
Rubio has greyhounds at every position, we ridiculous in transition 🤷🏾‍♂️☺️

Supports my opinion that suns fan overrate Dragic haha. I thought he mostly did ok. Got the $5 guys right. Shaq at $4 was easily the worst choice, but not entirely sure who you’d replace him with. Honestly might make more sense to just have 4 guys in each price range. Or at least the $3-$5

$5 would be CP3, Nash, Booker, and Amare
$4 would be JJ, Bridges, Marion, Ayton
$3 would be Marbury, Dragic, JRich, Cam
$2 would be Rubio, Bell, Tucker, Diaw, Frye
$1 would be Bledsoe, Barbosa, Oubre, Dudley, Warren

Just leave off Shaq, McGee, and Green

My $15 team: Nash, Raja Bell, Dudley, Frye, Amare. Honestly I just wanted Nash/Amare and whoever else with them. It seems unfair that you can't really recreate the 2000s team without going way over budget. I really wanted Marion or Bridges but couldn't afford them. I wanted to have 4 shooters on the floor and Amare causing damage inside. My team is not the most athletic and wouldn't be very good at playing fast-paced, but I think I can score in the half court with the best of them and most of the guys are decent defenders too.

Same team as me except you took Nash over CP3…I approve, I think that 1/4 pick and roll connection is crucial and you went with the shooting of Nash over the defense of CP3. Certainly a solid choice.

My only concern of our teams is how dependent we’d be on Nash and CP3. Neither really have another ball handler. I did consider a guy like Green or Oubre instead of Dudley to add someone else who could create their own shot, but not sure the shooting and defensive downgrade was worth it.

No love for Bledsoe at $2? Lol

Our current starting 5 with Cam as the 4 is $21.
