Phew…that Gordon 3 looked on target at first to me

Suns enter the All-Star break with 18 wins in their last 19 games.

I missed a good chunk of the game in the middle and got scared when I turned it on and Holiday was playing crunch time minutes. Glad to hear CP3 just got ejected

A cursory look at the stats may lead one to think Ayton had a good game.

Eye test is something else ... many fumbled/mishandled passes and potential rebounds.
That the ugly, goofy Turkish kid outrebounded him is ignoble ...

Well he was also injured. 2-for-1 special.

Same with booker - 24 points and 8 assists, but some terrible shooting and his play down the stretch was shaky at best.

Well we’ll see about the injury…it didn’t look bad and comes at the perfect time with the all star break here.

Shades of Artest rebounding a Kobe air ball in 2010 conference finals

Exactly what happened to me. My heart sunk.

Well not ideal, I feel bad for saying he just got ejected. Hopefully it’s nothing

Definitely in our top 48 wins of the season so far!
We were dangerously close to coughing this one up. We are clearly not the same team without CP3. In games like this where we are loafing a bit and the other team is out hustling us, I wouldn’t mind seeing a burst of Biyombo minutes and see if he can provide a spark.
It was nice to see Cam and Mikal make big plays down the stretch.

I tried out a player prop parlay for the Suns game today.

+125 odds, each player had to hit their number or more.
Mikal 15pt
McGee 6reb
Paul 10ast

In addition to the Suns, Hawks, and Celtics moneyline parlay that I also lost.

I'm a walking hex at this point.

Suns didn’t look like their heads were in the game. They were lucky to escape with a win. The Rockets wanted that one and almost got it. Bridges gets the game ball. He was the difference in the fourth.

Enjoying having Craig back. I like Holiday’s offense and defensive skills. He still throws a lot of crazy passes that are off target.

Not quite as easy without Paul but they pulled it off. I was watching the Houston broadcast until I just couldn’t stand it an more with about 30 seconds left in the 3rd quarter. I switched to the Suns broadcast and suddenly everything got better and the Suns took the lead. Then it got close again but they pulled it off. Had to be tough so close to the break.

Best part of this game was Monty moving Holiday ahead of Payton in the rotation at the end of the 1st quarter.

I guess Schroder was never coming here.

I'm pretty sure most of the league doesn't like him and is partially the reason for him signing with Boston so late in the summer.

Not getting the co-sign from LeBron has far reaching consequences around the league.

He seemed to work well with Chris Paul, at least.

Sneaky progression but I like how he’s done it. It wouldn’t have been fair to Payton to just do it immediately after Holiday got here. I have a feeling Holiday will be entering games before Payton, if he does at all, from here on out.
