Is it that unusual for a team like that to have their PG dribble about 60% of the time?

Ya I’m not sure how unusual that stat is…I’d be curious what it is for other teams. I’m sure it looks similar for Luka

Yeah this sounds like something Kawhi's camp would suggest so he doesn't have to play as much during the part of the season nobody pays attention to.
So does he get paid half as much?

I'm honestly sick of Kawhi and this "will he or won't he" stuff. Let him retire if his body can't handle it.

Wall, on the other hand, looked great. Just as quick and as smooth as ever, and his midrange shot looked great. Lue played his guys almost like a preseason game - PG and Zubac played about 35 minutes, no one else played over 25. 10 man rotation with Zubac the only true center. Lakers are just yikes...Westbrook 0-11 and PatBev 1-7 which ya just hate to see. Lonnie Walker was their leading scorer so there's that.

I'm a Tari Eason fan, and I wish he was a Sun.

I was wondering who that was and I was thinking he may have been one of your targets. I don't know anything about him. Looks like he's getting some decent playing time so far.

I'm wondering if he'll play against us on Sunday.

This might be something to keep an eye on if the Raps stay with their younger bench guys Achiuwa and Koloko while OG and Pascal stay healthy. Maybe they'd swap Thad Young for Crowder? They get another perimeter shooter/defender on an ending deal, we get the bench 4/5 we've been looking for and were hot for last year. Crowder would be a good fit in Toronto too. We could swap straight up, tho it could be an issue that Thad's got an extra year at 8mil on the deal.

Meh. Not super excited about that deal. But I guess we have to take what we can get.

Say, should we set up a schedule again for posting weekly Suns News and Around the League threads? I did the one this week and am happy to do others, but I don't want any one person to "burn out" on it, as has been a problem in the past. Any volunteer to make a Google Sheet that folks could sign up for the given weeks for the season?

I don't get the Lakers starting lineup. They start Russ & Pat Bev together? Along with James who needs to be the main ball handler in order for the Lakers to do well. It's a weird line-up.
Go Suns!

Og Snus!
