Just barely started watching but it seems Monty was really fucking bad?
Nah, suns got in a battle with the refs and the kings took advantage and killed us in the 3rd
Gross. I just saw on twitter everyone criticizing Monty, book and Paul.
Booker deserves the most criticism for the horrendous stretch in the 3rd, but he got it together and played well until the end.
I don't get the Monty criticism and everyone should know what Chris Paul is and isn't at this point.
What was Book doing? Just forcing shit and hero shots?

Ya not sure why Monty would be to blame here. We just let the officiating get to us and the kings steamrolled us while we blamed everything on the refs. Now the refs did suck, but you can’t react the way they did. Just play.
If Ross and Warren could just play even below average defense we’d have something…they are just so bad…CP3 too. We had 3 pigeons out there against the best offensive team in the nba.

No he was the big culprit with the refs. He thought he got fouled, came down and fouled Sabonis needlessly and got a tech complaining at the refs. Pissed off the refs and then we were all butt hurt with every call that went against us.

Arguing with the refs. He had a great game otherwise.

We’ve dropped to 5th…though maybe 6th would be best anyways

Give up 80 points in a half and you're fucked.

We looked good in the first half. Then I went to put my kids to bed and came back midway through the 3rd and it was already basically over. Wth happened? Looking at some of the stats, it's hard to win when 3 of your starters score 2, 4, and 6 points respectively. And I know we got a lot from our bench, but the bench guys also play pretty lousy defense. So it felt like we were trading baskets at best.
We really need KD and Ayton back.

We gonna get Embiid his MVP tomorrow when he drops 60 in 3 quarters and doesn’t have to play the 4th

Anyone still thinking that Ayton is easily replaceable?

I just knew that first half was fools gold.

This is killing my love for the game even more than Sarver did. Is consistently unfair refereeing supposed to be part of the game? All the flopping and whining sucks too

Use AI to replace the refs. I could probably do it, too, with the training dataset that the NBA is providing for the last two minutes of each game + Synergy sports

Problem was we overreacted to 1 or 2 questionable calls. The refs didn’t screw us, our focus on the refs made us lose focus on our actual opponent. I do think Ed Malloy got a little “I’ll show you” with us, but just no excuse for getting in those battles with the refs. If I’m Monty I’d tell the team no talking to the refs whatsoever tomorrow. We just can’t let this ref storyline continue. Just play basketball.
