Condolences to Nurk, that’s rough for him. He should take whatever time he needs.
Meanwhile, does this not seem a fairly big cop out from Vogel??
It’s a far cry from the championship aspirations type talk of preseason..
Vogel: “….A myriad of different things we’re seeing… one night’s going to be different than the next, and it takes the duration of the season to get better at these things and to build the cohesiveness with our guys on the floor.”
Those two things are not mutually exclusive.

What do you make of this data? Doesn't match the eye test to me.

Eric Gordon declares that he wants a bigger role on the team, isn't getting enough touches / shots. Here we go.

None of those stats with Book or KD at the top of a list matches the eye test. Feels like we run hardly any PnRs and don't even use a PnR rolling big.
EG really didn't say anything that he and other guys haven't been saying for the past week or so. But he said it to Haynes, who is national, which is probably sending a message.
I don't know if the team has given up on Vogel. Beal being out has been a legit challenge but the rest of these guys are too good and too smart to be playing this poorly. That main core of Book, KD, Nurk, Allen, EG, Okogie, Goodwin, Eubanks have played a good amount of minutes together and should be talented enough to win games, right? Vogel keeps saying he's looking for guys to step up but it doesn't feel like he's maximizing what he has. Nothing looks good or easy on our end. The players seem to know it's not working.

The beginning of the end has wrapped up. The apocalypse is nigh.

Nothing is easy. Every shot they make is a struggle.
GMs fault for leaving us zero big man depth whatsoever. Coaches fault that this team is not dropping 120 per night .

It's almost as if they thought the vanilla defense bums they played in the preseason where the big 3 were playing was how it was gonna be in the regular season and they just thought they'd cruise.

One thing I noticed is all of our plays seems designed to free KD or Book, instead of getting the ball to whoever is open.
And then KD and Book are double or triple teamed every time and early.
Ugh. What a cluster fuck this season has started off man.
Very true! How long before we might actually hear Durant himself ask for a trade? Hopefully he doesn't of course. But if he actually does, Is there even a reasonable chance that we could get solid value back for him at 35 yrs old? And if this all does impode, how could it affect GM Jones as he was the one that constructed our bench depth, etc.
