No doubt. It was right after that the Lakers went on a huge run and Butler picked up an injury a quarter later.

Not to mention Bam and Goran.

This one is over and I'm probably not watching basketball again until at least January.
So... It was your fault. Shame on you. See you in January. ;)

It’s only fair that the Lakers get all the best players. Poor LA fans have it rough.

Goran torn plantar fascia so the Heat are...cooked.

Too bad, especially as he enters FA.

Ya, if Goran can’t play, I think this is already over. If Bam is banged up too, no chance for the heat. Too bad, I thought we’d get a good series.

So I turned on the game when it was 43-41 Heat while I was making dinner. I looked back a few minutes later and it was 48-65 at the half. Oof. Then the next time I looked up it seemed like Bam, Jimmy, and Goran were all hurt? Double oof. Will it be a sweep?

I still think it's a 5-1 series. The Lakers don't mind losing a game now and then.

What a stomping by the Lakers. With the Heat injuries, do they have any chance at all? This could be a sweep.

This game reminded me of Game 1 of the Lakers/Nuggets series.

Luckily I got a bet in with my buddy before game one for the Lakers to win the series. (We split on the Toronto and Celtics series.) That way I couldn't lose. Lakers win, I win a little money. Lakers lose, Lakers lose.

ESPN says Dragic has torn the plantar fascia in his foot. Probably done for the playoffs, wouldn't you think? You don't want to run on an injury like that.

My guess is that Adebayo (shoulder) and Butler (ankle strain) will play in Game 2.

Not sure how he's fighting to play with a torn plantar fascia

Joe Johnson did in the playoffs one year. I saw a tweet about it last night. He would get injections before every game. He ended up shooting 24% from 3 that series. And was like 2-14 in game 7.

The Heat are a quality organization, and I hope they won't let one of their talented players (especially a guy who's a pending free agent) go out there on a torn foot and aggravate a nasty injury.

At this pace you are gonna have to wait, like, five more years. It's insane how he has the body and durability of Karl Malone, the talent of Magic and the dedication of Kobe Bryant. He has the chance to win 2-3 more rings with the Lakers if Davis doen't get injuried and that would give him a legitimate argument againt Jordan for GOAT.

Is it really a discussion at this point about whether he's the greatest player? 10-11 Finals appearances, the stats, the durability...maybe not the greatest winner (MJ) or the most dominant (Shaq?) but I don't think anyone's body of work compares to his. IMO the only reason he's not considered the greatest right now is because he's still playing and some people just don't want to like him. 5 years after he's retired it'll only be love tho.

Jordan won 10 scoring titles, DPOY, didn't lose in the finals (LeBron in 2011 vs Mavs is huge stain on these discussions) and elevated the NBA globally like no other athlete ever, LeBron included. At this moment, I don't see a real case. If LeBron wins 6 when all is said and done, it could be a technical tie. Don't see him over Jordan in any case.

To me the top tiers are:

Jordan-LeBron-Wilt
Kareem-Bird-Magic
Duncan-Russell-Shaq

Kobe-Dr J-Hakeem-Dirk-West-Robertson
Barkley-Malone-Stockton-Nash

Will have to wait on Curry, Durant, Harden, Westbrook, although Curry could go as high as Kareem-Bird-Maig tier. KD prbably ends up on Kobe's tier and Harden-Westbrook go with Barkley and co.

Also, I'm sure a big goal is to pass Kareem for all-time NBA scoring leader.
