They like that they got Camara from the deal. It doesn’t hurt them as bad because they are in the middle of a rebuild but they are starting to acknowledge Ayton and what he is.

They’ll be fine. It was a worthwhile shot on their part and they didn’t give up and significant parts of their future.

I'm happy to call it a win/win. Blazers got Camara who is part of their regular rotation.

The new question should be is he the worst contract in the nba right now. Other contenders right now would be Wiggins and Poole.

Beal is scary because of his health and the amount(also the ntc), but he’s still a good player at least. Wiggins has been unplayable…I’d also be scared of that Jaylen Brown deal, even though he is an all star level player.

Zion, MPJ, Ja, and LaVine are other contracts I’d be wary of.

It’s comments like this from Ayton that make me wonder if the guy has actual mental disabilities. There is no way he watches himself and a tape of Kevin Garnett and thinks the 2 are playing with the same tenacity and engagement, unless all he watches are his YouTube highlight reals.
