As much as we complained about Ayton, at least we didn't draft Ben Simmons!
Ben Simmons has been an all-star and all NBA.
Roy Hibbert is a 2 time ALL-STAR. Come on now
He was all all NBA, don't forget that. Ayton has zero career accomplishments. Zero.
Honestly that was trash that the NBA awarded Hibbert that.
Pretty sure he was DPOY.

Roy Hibbert has more career accomplishments than Ayton.. that's kinda hilarious.

Ben Simmons was better than any version of Ayton before he got the yips. There is no argument here.

They both are worthless now. Simmons has accomplished more than Ayton has.
I don't think Ayton is worthless. He's something like the 18-20th best center in the NBA, imo, which is worth something. It just isn't worth a max salary. Put him on a, say, $15m/year contract and I'd love to have him on my team.

Ben Simmons has some past accomplishments Ayton doesn't have like making an All-Star team, but Simmons is unquestionably the worse current day NBA asset. Simmons health and motivation are completely shot, and it looks like he may never return to playing regular NBA basketball. Ayton is at least out there playing for the Blazers, sometimes putting up good numbers.

Blazers have now played 47 games. Their leading scorer in each of those has been someone not named DA, their max player.

I mean, yes, that's true. But last night they upset the heavily favored Bucks and spoiled Dame Lillard's return. And the much maligned DA had 20 points on 10-17 shooting, and 11 rebounds. Seems like DA played very well and contributed to a big win. Maybe this isn't the game to bash the guy?

Ayton and Simons have been pretty solid lately. Gotta get Henderson up to snuff.

Credit where it's deserved. Ayton playing much better these past 4.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

We all said Ayton was better than Nurk but Nurk was a better fit but honestly? He is better than Ayton this season and half the price too.

Big Dick Nurk > Ayton

I have to agree. He's been a pleasant surprise.

A couple guys are obsessed with it. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

We've decided that Nurkic has a really big dong. His nicknames are DomiNurkic, Big Dick Nurk, and Nurk Diggler.

Hopefully this isn’t just a 2-week mirage…we had robbed Portland blind with how things were going before this last little stretch.

Dude, 99% of fans know he can't and won't and that's the whole problem with him. The fact he turns it on and off when he wants to is the problem.
