Gonna be hard with 2 of your big 3 having no trade clauses… I’m already preparing myself emotionally for the dark years we’re going to go through with us going all in now. It’s now or never.

KD does not have a no-trade clause.

The reason the CP3 trade has to be separate is that it can't be completed until July 1, since Poole's salary is only $3.9M until then. And the Suns have to make the trade before July 1, because of the 125% rule ending.

On the Golden State side of things, they've made some really poor decisions. The Poole extension has cost them draft capital. They gave away Wiseman. They traded like 1000 second rounders for GP2 and still got swept by the Lakers. And they've lost Bob Myers. Rough times.
Wait, you listed off poor decisions and then included losing the guy who was responsible for making those decisions as a negative...

Chris Paul was traded for two of the "worst" contracts in the same week. What a legend.

Because Myers is a net positive, and his replacement just traded for Chris Paul.

2nd apron teams are not allowed to buy 2nd round picks either.

We reallllllly need to trade DA for some depth/youth or our avenues for improving the roster long-term are severely limited.
Nope, Vogel likes Deandre, this is not possible.
Just saying…. If his next coach doesn’t show up to the airport with roses, a PlayStation 5 and the best medical cannabis they won’t be getting “dominayton”. He only shows up to coaches that love him and coddle him.
Sounds like we need Earl Watson back?

Wow, that is a lot of picks and pick-swaps in the Beal trade. We are really effed draft-wise for the next decade. Hmm.

Meh, we still will get at least the 30th pick in 2026, 2028, and 2030. Plus whatever pick we land next year.

We also will probably acquire 2nds vía trades at some point. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if we sign our own free agents this summer to short term deals with the intention of trading them for longer term money and picking up draft capital in the process.
