This would be a balanced roster.

Rozier
Booker
Bridges
Durant
Ayton

Bench
TJ
JJ
Okobo
Korkmaz
Bender
Holmes
Melton

Is it possible with our cap space? I have no idea but dreaming is free.
I don't think so. We didn't pick up Bender's option so he won't be here. We'll stretch Anderson's $15M which will help. But if you believe Scary Terry will get the max he's after then I don't think we can fit Durant's max too. Don't forget we have Ayton making #1 pick money and JJ making a good amount too. I believe we'll have somewhere close to $40M in space with only the following guys signed: Booker, Bridges, Ayton, TJ, JJ, Okobo and Melton.
You could maybe pull it off if you traded for Rozier and waited to sign his extension until after you locked up Durant.

No way is Rozier worth the max. Are you kidding me?

I don't think Rozier as a max player either. That is why I thought we might pull that kind of a roster. Durant needs to carry alone one team to the finals if he wants to hand down a legacy of some kind. I say add KD to this mix and we are dangerously close to the finals.

that was a big win for Casey last night
drawing up the game winning inbounds play in first game against your former team is basically a perfect scenario

Yes, I watched the highlights and was really happy for him. Very cool how happy the Pistons' players were too to get him the win.

Well, he rejected the TJ Warren deal ($12M per) from the Celtics. I believe he said he wanted the max but I'm not sure if he still believes that.

I'm sure you'd be hard pressed to find someone on the board that would be o.k. with the team maxing Scary Terry out.
Go Suns!

How about the Mavs 50 point blowout over the Jazz? Looks like half of the damage was done in the 4th quarter.

I don't see how ANY team would. Unless they're desperate. Obviously, we're not too desperate since we still don't have a starting caliber point guard.

Not looking much like an upper echelon playoff team.

I would give him Jeff Teague money.

Dallas has snuck their way up to 6-8. I think the Warriors are the only truly ahead of the pack in the west and the Suns are the only team truly behind. The other 13 teams are going to shuffle quite a bit.

It's finally official, Melo career continues to just close on a sad note.

He's like the human 'L' at this point. Teams are way way better when he doesn't play, than when he does.

So for a tanking team that’s looking to sell tickets or attract viewers for a losing team by adding a big name...

Uh oh.

I don't think we end up with Melo. Hes going to push for a big, coastal city. My guess is he will be most interested in the Clippers, Nets, 76ers, Miami, or Orlando.
