Saw that. There's out if control and there's Josh Jackson out of control.

I can handle losing but if Igor can't get these guys to play harder than the other team then I can't take losing. This coach is soft and this team is soft.

I don't need to see Josh attempt any more threes for awhile. A long long while.

Crawford just consistently rolling now.

Bridges shooting slump just couldn't come at a worse time could it.

If I'm in charge I'm letting Shaw name his price to work with Ayton. Kid needs someone to teach him. This staff is not going to do it.

Agree. Igor is very cool and calm and the team has taken on that attitude. We need some fire and intensity. Worst thing is letting young think they're playing hard when the have no idea what playing hard is.

It’s possible. Was why I was in favor of moving back. I had Ayton #1 but I thought the top 4-5 were real close. Also, it’s still way too early to tell. And these guys you are thinking might be better(I’m assuming JJJ and Wendell Carter) have big games from time to time, but they are also throwing out stinkers.

Doncic is also very interesting to me....I’ll see all these tweets praising him and talking about him like he’s already an all star and how crazy it is he didn’t go #1. Then I’ll check his box score and he went 4/13 for 13 pts 5 reb and 3 ast. But he hit a step back 3, so the doncic fanboys go crazy. Now doncic is very good and I think he is going to be a really good player in the nba, but they hype train on him is a little excessive.

It's the internet, everyone exaggerates how well "their" guy is doing. Now I had Doncic number 1 and do think he's played well, but I think if Phoenix was winning the hype train would fully be behind Ayton as well. This team just stinks, it has too many holes to be competitive on a game to game basis.

It had video of a fan yelling at Sarver to sell the team. Sarver actually stopped and engaged with him. Sarver says to him, "Do you have money?"

The best part is when the guy tells Sarver he has $100 to offer and Sarver replies, “If that’s all you got, I feel sorry for you.”

I think folks in the national media are underrating Ayton based on a few things. One is just that our team stinks, and that sticks to Ayton. Another is that his defense has been poor and there have been some embarrassing highlights of him not trying hard on that end. Also a problem is that he plays with a calm demeanor and often quietly puts in a game of, say, 16 points and 10 boards.

But IMO the guy is playing great overall. He has ridiculous efficiency; I've lost track of how many times Ayton has shot something like 10-for-13; that's incredible. He also plays within himself and doesn't try to do stupid stuff like forcing shots or trying to block everything on D. He doesn't often get into foul trouble. He doesn't try to jack 3s or other things a center shouldn't do. He has been a willing and savvy passer especially out of double-teams. I just really like the way he plays.

His defense needs work, and the team badly needs a PG who will make entry passes to him. But I don't see why folks are so ho-hum about Ayton. He's excellent. We're lucky to have him.

I love the way Doncic is playing, but Split T's post is right on. Doncic will wow everybody with a game but his stats will be something pedestrian like 13 points and 5 assists with bad shooting percentage. He's awesome, but he's getting a bit overhyped.

People went crazy because he blocked LeBron twice last night, but he also went 2/13 and 0/5 from 3. Doncic is great and I’d be happy to have him, but I’m pretty happy with Ayton. Just like I’d be happy with JJJ or Carter. Bagley has been really good too. I think this draft was just really really good.

Very good points. And Ayton has had either 8+ rebounds or 14+ points in every game he's played, so you could argue that he hasn't had any actual stinkers yet, unlike some of those other players. He has been a remarkably consistent player, especially for a rookie.

Hopefully this works. Let me know if you can't see it. If he is this responsive to criticism, we should start going to games and yelling "stop micromanaging your GM and coach." Might have better results.

As long as he knows we want him to sell the team...lol.

Because Ayton is not Doncic and is not taking the league by storm, unlike Luka. To each his own, Doncic is giving you around 20ppg on good %s. Also rebounds and of course he passes the ball. Even blocks Lebron now hahaha. And he is 19. And Dallas is overachieving. There is no race for ROY.

Highly improbable. Although nobody in the '18 top5 is unhappy.

Sarver's taste is ridiculously bad. The NBA truly needs to kick him out.

And Ayton is giving 16/10/3 with better efficiency numbers. And is also 19. He’s also leading in every advanced metric. To say the ROY race is over is very premature.
