At least it wasn't like Ricky Davis in Mar. 16, 2003 ...

"The Cavaliers were seconds away from a 27-point victory over the Utah Jazz when Ricky Davis committed basketball sacrilege. Davis, with 26 points, 12 assists, and 9 rebounds, was well aware that he was a board away from his first career triple-double.
"Jumaine Jones inbounded the ball to Davis near the Jazz basket, where he was supposed to run out the clock. Ricky instead lobbed a gentle flip off the backboard, which was his attempt at a shot, and collected the ball, his attempt at a rebound. Seeing what he was doing, Utah's DeShawn Stevenson fouled Davis hard in retaliation.
"However, Davis was not credited with the rebound, per NBA rules..."

Yeah, he shouldn't have been credited with a rebound for that. The Rockets clearly were controlling the ball when it was tipped for him.

But at least it wasn't him pushing for it or even trying to do it. The team was trying to do that for him.

Ricky Davis deserved a harder foul than he got.

I am not too bothered by these things. If these guys are trying to show me up, I’d be super pissed. But for them to try to get some arbitrary accomplishment because we happen to have five fingers on each hand, let them be. A lot of people around the league slammed the Suns for celebrating Booker’s 70 point game too and I thought that was silly. When your team is mired in negativity, something positive goes a long way in keeping you sane.

The great Clippers (that everybody around here seems to love) in the process of losing to the mighty Kings.

I don’t think anyone loves the version without Kawhi and PG13, who’s not playing tonight.

LeBron James Out Indefinitely Under NBA’s Covid Protocols
The Lakers star, who says he is fully vaccinated, may be out at least 10 days under the league’s pandemic rules.

And the Clippers still nearly made a full comeback at the end.

And didn't we lose to them too?

Oh, you didn't specify what team we were talking about. I thought you meant the Clippers, the last team mentioned before your response.

Bucks are scary…think we have a pretty clear top 4 in the nba right now with Suns/Warriors and Bucks/Nets. Heat could be dangerous and I’d pick the Clippers as a western darkhorse if they get Kawhi back. Jazz and Hawks would be my next two, but I don’t believe in them in the post season.

So my power rankings(based on ability in the playoffs)

1. Milwaukee
2. Phoenix
3. Golden State
4. Brooklyn
5. LA Clippers
6. Miami Heat
7. Utah Jazz
8. Atlanta Hawks
