This does not look good, man. I hope I’m wrong, but this feels like it’s going to be a lost season.

Here’s Ayton’s opening response for those who didn’t get to see and want a taste of what we mean. He was like this the whole time.

To be fair, none of them seemed to be happy today. It's also possible DA has something going on in his personal life. Or he stayed up all night playing 2K and got zero sleep. :P

Just saying, we don't know for certain what the deal is.

Feels that way. Fully expect to get bullshit back too, whether that’s because teams know there’s no reason to put up great offers with both sides clearly wanting to go their separate ways or DA’s lackadaisical play, probably going to be a combination of both.

Ya, it’s just more the normal vibe for Book/CP3/Monty/JJ.

Ayton isn’t usually like that. ESPN didn’t bother to keep the feed going after Ayton, so not really sure how CamJ/Mikal have been.

James Jones was trying to get an Ayton S&T done to acquire enough stuff to satisfy Brooklyn. Maybe that was never really possible, but it's what happened. They also probably told Mikal that he's not on the table in a KD trade because they'd already made their choice with Ayton as the centerpiece of a deal.

I think everyone knows what time it is, and this is going to be an uncomfortable few months to start the season. I honestly don't know if Ayton trade rumors will ever really go away for at least the next year.

I hope it was mostly just the Sarver stuff keeping everyone down, combined with Jae and last years ending, but it just feels like there’s more. That not everyone is on the same page anymore. Hopefully we can figure it out.

I’m not going to overreact. Lol. Every player had to have their defense up over the shit show offseason. Reporters were positioned to ask only negative questions: between Ayton’s signed offer sheet, KD related trade rumors, being embarrassed by Dallas, Sarver report, and now Jae. Wow. They just need to get on a win streak and move the f on.
