KD has been a 4 since he left OKC…he’s played more 5 than 3 since then

Let's see a game already! Come on Sunday! Get here early, would you?!
This.

I have been real excited to see this team come together since the Beal trade and start of free agency. Still mind-blowing all the changes this franchise has made when compared with this time last year. Seeing all of these photos and videos of the team currently just feels so surreal.

I really enjoyed the Vogal interview. He seems like a very personable enjoyable guy to be around. I imagine the players will get to see the more serious side of him.

First game last season: https://www.basketball-reference.com/bo ... 90PHO.html

Book, DLee, Okogie the only players from that game still here. Ish had a DNP.

And Ish and Lee could still get cut before the season starts!

Golden State usually started a center in the regular season at least. Are you saying Green was starting at SF?

They did start a C, KD definitely spent time at SF, but they also played a lot of Curry/Klay/Iggy/KD/Green…that was their best lineup.

Those centers they started played 18 minutes a game or less and in the last 2 years they ditched starting a C in the playoffs.

Anyways I‘m not opposed to putting size next to KD on the wing, but I see zero issue with him playing the 4. His length and weak side rim protection is valuable near the rim.

I don't mind him at the 4 at times, especially during the playoffs. I just don't want him playing PF for an 82 game season--too much risk of wearing him down imo, especially since he's 35 years old now.

That’s fair…I’m fine if he plays some 3…ultra big lineups could be fun.

How about a Booker/KD/KBD/Bol/Nurkic lineup

I’d love to see them experiment with a lineup like this in preseason/regular season a bit. We have a great group of players that can pose a lot of unique lineups. I’m all for it.

I just want shooters on the floor. No twin towers BS; we have way too much firepower to waste running out Bol and Nurkic together. I know both Bol and Nurk are good shooters for centers; but you don't want both of those guys on the floor except maybe for a defensive stop at the end of a game or something. I'd much rather have 4 shooters and one big at all times if possible.

I don’t know if Bol counts as a big…I agree more with Nurkic that he’s really more of a guard/wing

And correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Kevin Young is the only holdover on the coaching staff.
