We would start out kinda small, but the last couple games make me think we should start Eubanks. Let Nurkic be the distributor with the second unit and play against backup post players...

Thank you, Eric Gordon lol.

Durant with two straight turnovers.

Big Goodwin steal >> Gordon three after the missed Nurkic lay-up. Very much needed to calm nerves (for those watching if no one else)

Eubanks would have 2 fouls within the first 4 minutes against a lot of starting bigs.

I swear Nurkic invents new ways to miss layups.

McDaniels is gonna have nightmares about Book and KD, poor guy. Got worked all night.
Love, Hurts.

Best $5 I'll spend all day.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 4:29 pmI'm down to my last reverse jinx tactic; I bet on the Wolves to win.
Vegas has the Suns as 5-point favorites, so I suppose that should make us feel a little optimistic.

I the paint, he does all the same shit the other guy did without the rim efficiency. The passing is great, but he just needs to slow down

9 turnovers with Booker in the lineup against the best defense in the league (on a b2b).

And Beal? He's basically Booker, right? According to some. Not you but I know a few folks around her swear by the greatness of Bradley Beal. Booker he is not.TOO wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 8:18 pmI think Ant is about as close.to Booker as Donovan Mitchell is. Which is to say, not very. Still both really good players, put up stats, but Booker is pretty handily ahead of them for me.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 8:12 pmI think it's more about Ant catching up to Booker, and to be fair, Ant has been incredible the first 3 weeks.
The thing is, Booker looks better than ever before and a lot of people haven't caught up to it yet.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Nobody here says Beal is Booker or as good as Booker. I myself will give the guy more than 2 games to show me what he can do. I think he'll help us a lot.AmareIsGod wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 9:37 pmAnd Beal? He's basically Booker, right? According to some. Great win. Book was stellar; the team just has a totally different energy with him out there. 31/5/4 in his first game back. KD had 31/6/6 for his part; what a duo they are. Okogie was awesome with 12 points and three big 3s. If he can hit the corner 3, he's a real weapon for us. I hope he just locks himself in the gym and puts up 500 of them a day. Gordon, Allen, Eubanks all played great. Nurk struggled against Gobert but that's an awful matchup for him; oh well. Yuta hasn't been very good this year overall; I wonder if we should give Little his minutes for a while and see if that's a better look for us?
You can see why the Wolves have such a good record. The KAT/Gobert duo has much better chemistry than it had last year. Ant is becoming a big star. And they have some nice role players like Conley, Reid, McDaniels, Anderson, etc. It felt good to take down a strong team like that in such solid fashion.
Maybe this game is the start of the turnaround of the season for us. I hope so. Get some rest, Book; we need you.

But I thought we didn’t have a pg…

Great to have Book back, real nice to have a win and (relatively) stress free last quarter.
