The Heat made the trade I wish the Suns had with Chris Paul, but I suppose pick swaps could've still been trumped by the Heat.

I don't think the Hornets would have taken Paul due to the 3 years left on his contract. Lowry is washed but at least he's expiring.

Chris Paul's contract is non-guaranteed next season, so he's essentially an expiring contract right now as well.

It would've also been a good PR move for the Hornets to bring him back to his home state.

OKC is now #1 in the West. Pretty impressive.

Not only is Billups in the wrong, but the Blazers should quietly be embracing a competitive loss.

Is Billups trying to get fired?

You don't have to leave, but you're fired. Failing upwards is wild.

This could indicate the Wiz are about to have a fire sale. Junior doesn't want the upcoming tank on his record.

Here's Jordan Poole and Kyle Kuzma, now go win.

Why would Detroit do this? Stupid

Why would they not do it? LaVine is a legitimate 25-30 ppg scorer, something they sorely lack. The Pistons seem to have a bunch of young mismatched pieces, mostly forwards, with no real firepower or leadership other than Cade's playmaking. A guy like LaVine would add a lot to their team. I like it for them.

Trading one of Ivey, Cade, Thompson, or Duren is the dumb part to me. LaVine is on a massive contract, Detroit is going nowhere. Yes they need to use their cap space on somebody, but I’d wait till the summer. There are always teams looking to unload contracts. I do think they need to break up Ivey and Cade, but LaVine doesn’t have much value on that deal…I think moving Ivey in that would be a mistake.

Bogi, Beef Stew and Killian makes some sense for both sides.

That would be an offensive talent downgrade for Chicago, but maybe worth it to balance out their roster and shed some salary. Maybe Detroit has to throw in a pick or two, as well, since they aren't giving Chicago any really impressive players in return?

If Detroit trades Thompson, just move the team, they'll never be good again.

They’ve been better without LaVine and his contract is a negative asset
