Thanks Ring. I think we have enough sieves on defense and I'd really like for our 4 to be able to deter shots at the basket at a slightly above average rate. I love what Leuer and Teletovic are bringing but watching them handle paint duties is painful.

Surprisingly DMo was one of the league leaders in rim protection last season per advanced stats (FG% allowed at the rim). Could be a one season aberration but he is infinitely better than Teletovic for sure.

Speaking of which, among our regular rotation players the %FG allowed at less than 6ft so far is:

Chandler 54.3%
Len 54.8%
Leuer 58.4%

Bledsoe 62.7%
Booker 63.3%
Price 66.7%
Teletovic 67.1%
Warren 67.6%
Morris 67.6%

Tucker 72.1%

Knight 80%

Wow. Bledsoe is doing a better job than Teletovic Warren Morris and Tucker. Tucker, okay... He's kinda overweight and other than sticking his ass into an opponent doesn't have many other weapons. But Warren with his longer arms and Morris at 6'9 really have no excuses. Knight, I get it. Half the time his man is at the rim and he isn't (I know that's not how this rating works).

And hey, bring on Motiejunas! We could always use another long Euro.

I think he is a solid 16th man.
I think in limited minutes he could be a decent 8th.

PJ at 15-18mpg gives you what you need out of this type of role player. Having to depend on him to play starter minutes reveals a glaring weakness on your rotation (or poor coaching).

If he can't shoot that corner 3 anymore, then his effectiveness basically takes a nosedive. Love the heart, but don't love the on-court results.
