Is there an actual talent discrepancy between say the G-League and the ACB? Or does the ACB just seem superior due to coaching, team continuity, and income opportunity?

Well the salary difference would indicate there is a big difference. Unless good players just love the G-League so much they prefer to play there despite earning 50-times less.

I don't know how you can pass up a guy who can get a triple-double in 22 minutes. Seriously.

I think if we ended up in a spot, like #3 or #4 and Ayton and/or Doncic were off the board, I think Bamba is my third choice. But then we would have to go so incredibly hard after some type of starting quality distributing point guard.

I'm sure Westbrook has done it a few times ;)

Westbrook had one in 20, and a bunch in 27.

Cap's Tankathon sims for today:

4-2-4-4-2-4-3-2-4-1

And when I finally landed on 1, LAL->BOS landed on 2. Just imagine if we hadn’t made that Knight trade!

Man, and I thought my run was bad: 4-3-4-4-1 and New York and Detroit improbably moved up to 2nd and 3rd respectively on that last pull.

I just went 4-4-4-4-4-2-1

Although I'm not super worried about where we pick. I like Doncic the best and would pick him 1, but I think we might be able to get him at 2 or even 3. Also I like JJJ and Bagley about the same as Ayton. In fact, I've moved Bagley ahead on my board. I could get behind a porter or Bamba pick as well if they blow us away during workouts.

Does anyone else find it a little suspicious that the NBA has Criss Angel running the lottery and claim it's legit?

I was kidding and should have used green font.

Yeah. You could have saved me a futile google search attempt. It was so bizarre it almost seemed plausible. Now, if the lottery was taking place in Vegas, you would've had me hook, line and sinker. "Watch now as I make the Phoenix Suns hope for a top three pick disappear!"

Thoughts on zhaire? Probably the best athlete in the draft. He may have played his way into the lottery and the crazy combine numbers he's gonna put up will only push him higher.

Boom! #1 on the first try today. Clippers move up an improbable 10 spots to 3rd.
