Wow. But why was Nader on the floor for that and not Cam Johnson?
He left the game with cramps. Probably won't be back.
That’s not fun. My son had that happen at the end of a soccer game last week and couldn’t walk for an hour after.

I used to play with my students every friday years ago, and one of them had cramps EVERY FRIDAY. It was ugly as hell, but we already knew that if he fell, grab his leg!

If you're Mike Malone, with .1 on the clock, why not try Bol Bol?

Not having a second center they can count on just killed them.

No chance of winning this one with Kaminsky guarding Jokic for 5 minutes.

You could blame this loss on a lot of things, but the bottom line is that they could have won if Monty told them to foul. Simple as that.

I still don’t understand why we didn’t foul Denver in regulation when they didn’t go for the quick shot. They were out of timeouts...we would have won.

Likewise, why Denver didn’t foul Kaminsky when he was trying to pass to crowder for the next game tying 3 is confusing to me too.

I would love to see what Jokic's stats were against Ayton and against Kaminsky.

I don't understand why nobody fouled at the end of regulation - there were multiple opportunities to do so. Can't win when you play stupid.

That being said, I think we have a better idea of what this team really is now. It's a .500 team that might make the playoffs and might not. Expectations were way too high.

Monty's a great feel good coach for the players, but we're seeing that he's not really the best at making game decisions.

Suns starting ALL the wings. Bridges, cam Johnson, and Crowder.
That explains the Wings sponsor on the court.

Gotta love two touch fouls in a row called on Ayton.
Ballgame. Knew we had no chance in 2OT without Ayton.

Putting Kaminsky out there contributes nothing to this team.

They need to find another option.

And you can't convince me that Dewayne Dedmon wouldn't be a better option.

Growing pains. Really hurts but in another few weeks, we'll see how the team really comes together.

As bad as Kaminksy was, there's like 5 guys in the league who can defend Jokic well. Certainly no one on available as a free agent could've done much better.

Alex Len was out there and we didn’t grab him. I think we are buying into our own theory of having a culture too much. Like things will solve themselves because we have high character guys who work hard. Maybe. But we are pissing away winnable games because of obvious issues like backup C and our 4th quarter execution is trash. Not sure why Monty and James are happy to watch games slip away. They will just talk about once we get everyone back we will be good. But you can’t rely on that this year because of the pandemic. You’ve got to grab the wins when you can because you don’t know if you might be missing a player at any given time. We get a more serious injury and this part of the season will come back to haunt us badly, we haven’t taken it seriously. Seems like dejavu for two weeks. I’ve given up watching our final quarters live because of how consistently bad they’ve been. Are they not practising late game situations enough? I think that’s the obvious conclusion and they likely think booker or Paul will just bail them out?.
Ayton started to get it but it’s been for nothing as coach just seems happy to peddle cliche responses after close loses which get hard to read because we fuck up final quarters so consistently.
The funny part is, suns pod cast nerds talk about all
These issues on their pods but don’t dare bring it up in front of players or coaches in interviews. If this team has a losing record by the mid season, It going to be such a bummer and Monty will be in the hot seat. He only has himself to blame at this point.
This team are losers and have been for the last decade. Until they make the playoffs they are losers. Tired of hype or rolling about pointless stats achieved by 21 years old or whatever. Unless you win, we dont care anymore.

What’s are 4th quarter point differential this year ? It’s got to be horrendous with the number of leads we have shat the bed with. Maybe waive that in Montys face
