Best stretch of Suns basketball in at least a decade. If it weren't for about a quarter and a half where everything fell apart all at the same time against the Nets, we could be looking at a double-digit win streak. Even so, 12 of 14 since falling to 8-8 is amazing; essentially the opposite of what happened last year, when the team started well but never really corrected when things began to go badly.

This team at full strength is versatile, can play both ends of the floor, has defenders that they can throw at almost anybody, moves the ball and shoots from all over, and has legitimate stars in Book and Paul; one or the other of those guys is going to be able to generate offense for themselves or others pretty much every night. Given good health (and I can't believe I'm daring to be optimistic here...) I think it's a team that has homecourt for a first-round series. And once you get to the playoffs, all sorts of things can happen, just ask Miami from last year, or better still, Toronto from two years ago.

Gotta be careful with these next 3, next 2 especially. All against sub .500 teams, but Charlotte and Chicago aren’t bad teams. Gotta keep up the same energy we’ve seen these last few games. Minnesota is the 3rd one before we close the first half with the Lakers and GS.

Today was a good day. Got my first dose of the covid vaccine and a solid Suns win. Can’t complain today.

Well, that was a wonderful game to watch. The stretch to end the 3rd was unbelievably fun.

Good finish to the half!
Yep, just finished watching the first half. Beautiful swish for Book at the buzzer.
Just wait till you get to the end of the 3rd Q
That was nice too. Book was wet tonight. Too bad the all-star votes are already in.

Don’t look now, but after a slow start Booker is shooting above 50% for the season, which would be the best FG% of his career and 38.1% from 3, which is .2% off his career high.

We've been playing some real great basketball lately and have had some good wins against good teams over the past 2 weeks but last night I think we maybe played our most complete game - 48 tough minutes on both sides of the ball. From start to finish it felt like we were locked in, especially Book. He didn't take any time getting warm or feeling the game out or deferring - he went right to work on Dame, Trent, Simons, Convington....didn't matter. He was on a mission last night. The defense was stout and swarming, starting up top with Dame. We gave up some easy baskets because we were defending Dame so far out, but that may have been by design. There was a little back and forth in the 2nd where the Blazers were battling, but they couldn't hang on.

Bridges was phenomenal on defense I thought, DA I think had one of his better defensive games. And our bench of Dario, the Cams, and Moore helped put the game away. It's great seeing the team finally at full strength and clicking.

Let's see if Ayton can keep Kanter off the offensive boards.
NOPE!

Fortunately it didn't matter!

E’Twaun has at least 3 offensive boards tonight...good hustle...if he could get his shot going
I think EJ was saying that he is just always hanging around, and it pays off. I have been pretty happy with him this season.
