there it is.

Shams just tweeted it

Been checking in all day but just didn't feel like posting
My immediate response, Who Cares ?? If I'm being petty. Last year the replacement selection was fair and it all came with noise from other players and Dame paying his respects and so on.
It felt good to know although we Sucked, our guy was starting to be recognized.
So this year I'm not feeling the replacement narrative

Either way, mature answer. Good for Book but I'm with those who wants well really expects him to as always be super locked in and do damage. I saw someone say rather see him drop an efficient 25 in a blowout than score 50 and I kinda like that thought too
Whatever the stats are I just want a mature performance because like he's been saying, playoffs is the end game so the statement games have to be in the future anyways to shut up the ignorant naysayers :x

Did the Commish feel the pity for Bomani or the Hornets? I thought the decision and announcement wasn't going to come until Friday.
The original announcements were supposed to be made on tnt as well...I think shams just broke news before the nba was planning.

Now we’ll get to see how high Booker gets picked by Lebron or KD.

Funny you say that about Shams
I find he seems to have lost his shine and folks question how he goes about things now. Premature tweets or not crediting other ppl in tweets, don't know what that's all about but have noticed those kinda comments this season

Agreed. I hope he is pissed off. He plays so much better when people are talking shit to him, or hitting him/fouling him hard.

I hate the games where he spends the first 5 minutes bitching to the refs for ticky-tack fouls. I know that usually leads to a mediocre game.

When people try and defend him real close and get up in his grill early on, I love it.

When he gets hit hard early in a game, I LOVE it.
Yeah, it's too bad Pat Beverly can't guard him every game! :D

DBook has definitely sacrificed stats in the name of wins. He knows what's what.

I heard that the Hornets petitioned before tonight's game to get him invited to soften the blow.

We all knew he was going to get picked as an injury replacement (again). It's blatant disrespect to have him picked as an injury replacement (again). I'm not amused by the political BS.

If it were all about marketing, Rudy Gobert should never make the All-Star game.
Well I hear Rudy's press conference last year went viral.
