I don’t understand our (lack of) off-season moves whatsoever.
Yep.

At least we're not trying to win a title or anything.

The fact that Jalen didn't play tonight combined with how well Frank played makes me think we've seen the last of Stix in non-garbage time/one-off situation minutes this season.

This game is hard to watch.
It gets better.

There's no reason for the Suns to lose this game even without Ayton and Payne...
WHY do you do this?!
Should've bet Pels +11.5.
That wouldn’t have worked out very well for you.

Kaminsky starting the 2nd half...
That was a great adjustment by Coach. Props to Kaminsky for his play tonight. This adjustment woke McGee up too.

Booker looked dead in the water then rattled off 9 straight as Booker do. I love it.
Yep. I do like that he’s a winning time player. He was having an awful night yet finished out strong to help secure the win.

I finally had a chance to sit down and watch at the beginning of the 4th quarter. You're welcome, everyone.
Maybe just don’t start with the pregame jinx next time.

Why we didn’t even resign Torrey is beyond me. No Dario, no Torrey, Jalen Stinx and we have no real oomph off the bench this year so far.
Ha ha. Nice one. That one snuck up on me.

Combined with not picking up his option makes that a pretty safe bet.

Javale is not a rotation player. He’s a third center who gets situational minutes. Unfortunately so is Frank but at least Frank is more fluid and less disruptive
There were people in here in the preseason saying that McGee was a better player than Ayton, and so there was no need to extend Ayton. Lol.

I didn't read a single person here say McGee was better than Ayton a month ago.

I think today shows why they didnt max Ayton. You can get solid C play out of a lot of guys if your PG is good. That money saved from an Ayton max is no doubt going to CP3's replacement IMO.

because nobody did. There were some that said things to the effect of you get 75% of Ayton for 5M/year. But that is true with every reserve-type player. In the NBA you pay HUGE premiums for that last 10-15%.

So I guess Monty was wrong about Jalen getting some playing time last night.

Pretty much how I feel. Ayton is in the higher end of centers in the league, but there’s a huge gap imo from Jokic/Embiid to Ayton. Even KAT when he’s playing up to his potential is on another level. That’s the level I want Ayton to get to. Just needs to add a little something to his game, whether that’s shooting, playmaking, or an ability to attack off the dribble. Just needs something or his ceiling is Rudy Gobert.
