Yeah I don't see a real argument for anyone besides Ja and Luka over Book this year. I don't even agree with those two being better, I can just see the argument. I don't think you have a strong argument for Curry or Mitchel or Trae.Split T wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 1:22 pm
I’m having a hard time seeing the argument against this as well.
I had him 2nd team last week, but now Curry is out and Ja… Book continues to roll.
Basically there’s 6 guard spots and I think those 6 are Ja, Book, Curry, Luka, CP3, and Mitchell. Trae would be the one other possibility. Are 2 of those guys more deserving for 1st team over Book? I don’t really think so…it’s close enough that Booker’s huge lead in the standings should be the tie breaker…
I go Ja and Book 1st team
Luka and CP3 2nd team(though leaving Curry off is tough)
Curry and Mitchell 3rd team.
Though another possibility:
Move LeBron to 2nd team C instead of F, he’s played a lot of C this year and slide Luka to 2nd team F, allowing Curry and CP3 to be 2nd team G.
This would be my ideal All-NBA
1st Team- Ja, Booker, Giannis, Jokic, Embiid
2nd Team - CP3, Curry, Luka, KD, LeBron
3rd Team - Trae, Mitchell, Tatum, Derozan, KAT
Though I’d want to find a way to get Tatum on 2nd team too
I was wondering out loud to myself watching the Nuggets game on replay, "Is Mikal Bridges on the best contract in the league?" and he hasn't even started getting paid on his new deal yet.
If Kal keeps balling out, including the playoffs, I think that helps keep Cam's contract a little more reasonable. I wouldn't be that surprised if he got the exact same contract as Bridges.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 2:51 pmI was wondering out loud to myself watching the Nuggets game on replay, "Is Mikal Bridges on the best contract in the league?" and he hasn't even started getting paid on his new deal yet.
Cam Johnson's new deal might get a little tricky when viewed through the lens of Bridges' contract relative to his role and production. For the record, I think Cam Johnson is unquestionably a $20M/year or more player.
I'm sure the Suns would love that. But if I'm Cam Johnson's agent, I'm pointing out that Bridges' agent did a poor job and my client shouldn't be punished for it.Indy wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 2:58 pmIf Kal keeps balling out, including the playoffs, I think that helps keep Cam's contract a little more reasonable. I agree, but he also hasn't shown his ability over extended time and has missed quite a few games.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 3:04 pmI'm sure the Suns would love that.
