Obviously the Suns are the favorite, but would it be unbelievable if the Warriors are in the Finals?

Wild things happen in the post season, so it's more about value than anything else.

What does that tell the Raptors when he is their "Global Ambassador"?

Oh Geeeezus
Redick obviously gives solid takes and I still count him as more of a player that National media
But when the usual suspects on these networks finally talk about the Suns it's always something fairly random

Suns-Jazz round 2 is gonna be interesting for me here in Utah. Last time those two teams met in the playoffs I was a toddler.

I just can’t really see a scenario where Mikal wins FMVP. It would need to be against a team where he shuts down the opposing superstar(so KD would fit) but he’d also need to score a bunch. Brooklyn doesn’t defend enough that we’d have to rely on Bridges as a scorer. Think Book and Paul would have no problem putting up big numbers.

I guess there is one scenario. We get Boston in the finals and Mikal puts the clamps on Tatum while Booker and Paul get most of the defensive focus and Mikal has a couple massive games as an outlet for them. Especially if one happens in a title clinching one. The Iguodala method.

He only bet on the Warriors to win the West, so it says nothing about the Raptors.

That the Raptors are playing the Warriors in the Finals?

I think I saw somewhere this week that Zion's team want him activated now because they might make the Playoffs and city buzzing tsk smh
Now this

Honestly integrating Zion in the middle of a playoff series would be tough and probably throw off team dynamics. Not worth the risk of re-injuring himself in a series they are probably losing regardless. I can understand the team side…of course I understand Zion too, if he feels he’s healthy, I’d be upset they won’t let me play.

The risk there is pulling a Brandon Roy. You come back for a meaningless first-round playoff series, play pretty darn well, but aggravate the injury and seriously hurt the rest of your career.

By my count, the only players still in the nba from the last time the Kings made the playoffs are:

Udonis Haslem
LeBron James
Carmelo Anthony
Dwight Howard
Andre Iguodala
Trevor Ariza
Chris Paul
Lou Williams
Joe Johnson(he did play a few games this year during the covid outbreak).

Will any of those players still be playing the next time the Kings make the playoffs?

5 of those guys are pretty much already done. 2 more may have a year or two left in them. CP3 and LeBron are the only 2 still playing at a high level. I don’t think the Kings are making the playoffs anytime soon, so I think at some point there will literally be zero players left in the nba from the last time the Kings made the playoffs.

OMG that's really crazy. We had a rough 2010s as Suns fans, but the Kings are on another level.
