I don't mind him at the 4 at times, especially during the playoffs. I just don't want him playing PF for an 82 game season--too much risk of wearing him down imo, especially since he's 35 years old now.

It’s debatable which is more wear and tear, standing near the paint providing help defense and closing out to the corners occasionally as a 4 or chasing around wings on the perimeter and switching constantly and adding miles to his legs. The modern 4 isn’t that big and physical except maybe the Jazz Knicks and Cavs, so I am leaning 4 myself. That said I still prefer KBD or Little in the starting lineup to play with a bit more physicality.
