I haven't been posting but this is driving me crazy

I would like to know why the fcuk Book has came back into the game
He's clearly hobbled and just out there as a decoy

In game 18 of the season ???
I'm so confused why he's playing through the ankle sprain
......

He can't beat anyone off the dribble
Hasn't been sprinting the court
Not playing D really either

This feels irresponsible and he probably doesn't play Friday with the travel and stuff

One leg, can't jump, out there as a decoy but still takes and misses the biggest shot.

I’m okay with a loss but potentially losing book for multiple games fucking sucks

Very frustrating loss. If we’d played even half decent we would have won.

And yes, Booker missing more games would really hurt.

Hopefully, for the love of god…. What ever the recommendation is, add 3 days… just to be safe. This one more day crap ain’t cutting it.

No one had it going tonight. KD was rusty and couldn't carry us. Book was being defended well even before the injury took its toll. Was afraid of the Raps being a bad matchup for us because of their length and athleticism. We couldn't handle all of Siakam, Barnes or OG on the perimeter and Poeltl had his way inside. We scrapped and took the lead for a bit but just couldn't get anything going long enough to sustain it. Hopefully Book's ankle injury doesn't linger but he didn't look good out there. Need KD back the way he was playing before his injury.

KD had a stretch in the 4th where he was settling back into his groove. I get Toronto has length and reputation going for them defensively but the amount of swipes and bumps they were allowed was excessive, and clearly impacted KD and Devin, pre injury as you alluded to.

Booker is useless as a decoy. He should have never come back into the game. Took his first shot with the game tying three attempt with about a minute to go.

With or without KD, this definitely feels like a loss.

Yeah, Wally. You sucked as a reverse jinx guy here. Instead, it felt like exactly what you described from start to finish. With great power comes great responsibility.

Ugh. Don't mind a loss but seeing Book out there limping, and playing on the injured ankle, was painful. I just want him to sit out if he's that hurt. KD tried to keep us in it, but Toronto was hot, and their length and size clearly bothered us. That possession where they got like 6 attempts before finally putting it in was hard to watch. And the refs were letting the Raptors get away with a ton of contact, pushing and shoving and hand-checking and such things. That's not our best style to play. Oh well; flush it down the toilet and move on to the next game. Hope Book is okay.

P.S. DomiNurkic had a really nice game with 19 points on 8/12 shooting and 14 rebounds. KBD and Goodwin gave us some good minutes. Hard to win when KD shoots 11-30 and Book shoots 2-12.
