Bench had 24 points on 10/13 shooting, with 17 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, and only 1 turnover.

Would be huge if Okogie, KBD, and Eubanks could keep this up. Add another player or 2 to that group and we might just have a bench.

Can you imagine our former center abusing a team like what Nurkic did to the Nets tonight?
I don't know, Jock had some pretty good moments.

I commented about this yesterday, the officials are being very lenient with the Nets physicality.
Every team that plays the Suns gets a pretty lenient whistle it seems.

In the huddle Frank said they wanted to score 30 in the 4th, which they did. The Nets are bad but they looked like the aggressor in the 4th. The Suns were still trying hard to win the quarter. I suppose if you don't count the 2 garbage buckets they did.

I think the complaints here are that we don't want the team to be the worst 4th quarter team in the league, which they currently are. It's a valid complaint.
I like what Frank said in the huddle. That’s the attitude we have to have in the fourth no matter how much we’re up.

We're basically unbeatable if the Big 4 are playing with that bench support.

I am enjoying the press saying the Suns are doomed without a pg.

Booker hits his last three and makes the Mikail Bridges patented 3 pt make salute shaking his head and pointing. Do I detect a little animosity?

I saw that more as good natured banter, or like a big brother showing up his little brother.

Yeah, it was harmless. Mikal was trying his hardest to not crack a smile.

I haven't been as able to post during games due to the baby, but I watched this game on DVR. It was a fun win! Nets are better than their record IMO; they have a lot of talented players and they can really put points on the board. Feels like they need their equivalent of our CP3 trade to take that leap; they need a veteran leader to come in and help them get the most out of their roster.

As you mentioned in your message, I was really impressed with our bench and supporting cast. Okogie and Gordon have done a really nice job lately. I am really happy to see that Coach has found a way to reincorporate KBD into the rotation in the past few weeks. He was -so- bad to start the season, but we haven't given up on him, and I do think he can contribute once he finds his confidence and figures out his role.

I thought Nurk had an awesome game. Didn't look at the stats until just now, but he was just bullying the Nets' smaller centers with his size and bulk. He is also such a smart passer and facilitator. Turns out he had 28 points on 11-15 shooting, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 blocks. That's a crazy stat line! Go Nurk.

I don't think the Nets are all that good, but they play pretty hard. Just a poor mix of players on the roster with no true #1 or even #2 guy. Sometimes it feels like Vaughn is actively trying to lose games.

We handled our business though. I said at the beginning of the game that no one on the Nets could physically handle Nurk so it was nice to see us adjust and take advantage of that. Should've/could've gone to him a bit more. KD had that look with his jumper early in the game, it's getting easier to tell when he's locked in vs when he isn't. The TOs are frustrating tho because they're just due to sloppiness and being nonchalant with the ball. No reason for it.

The scouting report is definitely out on us when it comes to the 4th quarter. Teams are pressing us, doubling ballhandlers at halfcourt, going zone and trying everything to fluster us into bad shots and TOs. It doesn't feel like we've cracked the code just yet, but we're doing better and hopefully it pays off down the line.

And won by 16.

Are you not satisfied unless they increase the lead in every 4th quarter?

Also, this idea that having a "point guard" on the floor automatically results in zero turnovers is silly.
It’s so dumb. I made the mistake of listening to a few minutes the halftime show. Suns had 64 points but Kendrick Perkins contended that the Suns needed a point guard because Bradley Beal’s body language was bad.

(Never mind Beal’s minutes and touches that this magical PG would likely take)
Perk is worst.

Yeah, Beal had the same body language no matter who had the ball. I made it a point to watch him after halftime, since Perk thought this was an issue.

I don't agree with Perk but I do think we could do a better job scheming things for Beal to get easier looks and more shots.

At the expense of Book or KD? There's only so many shots to go around and Beal has been pretty efficient in his role for the most part.

Yea I guess. Just feels like he hasn't really found his niche within the offense and really gone off for a stretch of games like I've been expecting.

Sure, but he's also never been 3rd fiddle, for a guy that's been a 30ppg scorer previously it's gotta be an adjustment. I'd be more worried about him if he were a full season into this and still having the same problems.

The broken nose has seemed to really throw him off these last few games.
