I like his post offense and his passing, but he has no range (I guess he can learn) and he doesn't look quick or athletic enough. He'd do little for our already poor defense.

If I wanted him, I'd offer the Pistons a sign and trade, but never would play the dare to match game for him. Again, the Morrii could make a lot of sense. Like in Bledsoe's case, I believe $10-11M the fair range, but that's the problem with RFAs.

Kieff and Frye have that stretch 4 game that could work well with him. Granted theirs no guarente either would be around but I think we're on the same range with contract figures...The Pistons have to do something to put Smith at the 4. He is a lot more efficient IMO at the 4 then the 3.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

I think Detroit would benefit a lot if they turned Monroe into the twins (plus change, I guess). More depth, shooting, and above all, indeed making Smith a four again.

I can't say I don't have interest in Monroe, (if Len ever becomes a real factor it could be quite a pair), but the figures would need to make sense.

I love the unis. I even like the logo feather sun on the bottom of the shorts. The only one I am not so fond of is the orange sleeved ones, but I'm not a fan of sleeved jerseys. I do think the unis this year are the best in the NBA. They did a great job.

Would anyone else target Greg monroe? I like his game and think he was in a difficult situation this yr in a toxic locker room. He is a RFA

With Andre Drummond coming into his own and Josh Smith's best position being PF and locked up for a long time I wonder if the Pistons are matching a good offer for him.

This is a guy I'm targeting if I'm Ryan & Co.
I've been thinking about that too.

Yay, more Monroe fans. I like his game a lot, sure he's not the most athletic guy, but PFs aren't expected to lead fast break. Good hands, rebounds, passes, would be a significant upgrade to our post play and can play C. Absolutely would target him.

I think he needs to be played at the C spot.

I'm torn on Monroe. Really solid player, but not the greatest fit for our system and needs. He's also probably expecting a max deal, when he doesn't deserve more than a Noah/Horford type deal (if that).

I wouldn't give him the max and agreed...I'd play him at C.

If he gets any kind of substantial offer, it just doesn't make any sense for the Pistons to match given the makeup of there team.

Right? lol

I don't get the Journey album cover feeling there, but I dig it. Don't Stop Believing! :D

I prefer the sunburst on the shorts.

I dislike almost everything about the new uniforms, except if the alternative is to wear an orange uni. Orange ones are my least favorite, regardless of design.

We just lost the "coin-toss" for the 17th pick with Brooklyn from our Washington pick. We get #18.

We're at least 0-2 on coin tosses. The very first one was kind of a big deal.

Doh, the Suns luck in the draft continues.

I hope you're right. We've been due for coming near 50 years.
