While we wait for Oubre, the rest of the league waits for Kawhi. There has been way too much speculation, "insiders" saying they are "certain" that Kawhi is going to this team or that team, as well as OJ-esque chasing of his cars and planes and various modes of transportation to follow him everywhere he goes to try to get a hint about his decision.

Folks had thought that Kawhi would pick his team today, but he may wait until Monday. And so it goes.

Myself, I hope he stays in Toronto. That city showed the team so much love during the season and playoffs, and they'd worship him there. He'd get to go to the Finals every year for a while, unless Giannis went nuts and had a 40ppg playoff series against them. And it just seems like a fun group of veteran guys who played well together. I'd rather watch that than another superteam in LA. (And for the record, before anybody tries to call me a hypocrite, I wanted Durant to stay in OKC, too.) :-)

Come on, already! Just stay in Toronto and be done with it. According to Leonard’s college coach, he has a lot of trouble making decisions.

Nah. What I heard was that Kahwi's people put in a call to Monty Williams. They told him Monty is the only guy Kawhi really trusts and that he wants to come to Phoenix, if Sarver gives him use of Sarver's plane to take make the one hour commute back and forth to San Diego when he wants.

Toronto is willing to entertain a sign and trade. It will be Ty Johnson ($19 million) and a resigned Oubre ($15 million) for Kawhi. Danny Green will also sign with the Suns for the minimum to follow Kahwi.

And you all this is a total fabrication made for your entertainment.

I think we're about due for Robot's fake-news take on this offseason.

He changed his Instagram to a clippers logo and Woj announced Paul George trade. Thunder get SGA, Gallinari, and 5 1sts..quite the haul for the thunder actually.

Huge haul for Paul freakin' George. SGA and 5 first rounders?! Plus 2 pick swaps? Crazy town. If you look at it as trading all that for Leonard and George then I guess... but who is left to play for them?

Wow! Would rather he stayed in Toronto but so glad it’s the Clippers instead of the Lakers!

I guess you don't need anyone else. That'll be a defense. I forgot they drafted Kabengele and Beverley re-signed. Plus they have Montrezl.

He will either take our 4/48 or be playing on the QO.

Just give him a fair offer and move on. I don’t want him playing on the QO.

I guess they still have about 18 million starting salary to offer Oubre, but they probably won’t do that.

After that 7.1 quake, Leonard should have stayed in Toronto!
